I was at the game, the banner said all natural, no recruits. I wouldn't say that's in bad taste. It's the truth. Not saying Curtis recruits either, because they don't have to kids want to go there.

The solution, to me, is to make 5A football an open division. Any program can play up to 5A and play in its enrollment class in other wports.

This is what the lhsaa commissioner has been proposing the last couple of years. He keeps losing. Why, because most of the larger public and private schools that are traditionally good in football do not want to deal with Curtis and evangel every year. This is why these schools are in 2a now. They use to be able to play up to whatever class they wanted, but those other schools were tired of not having a chance to win it all, so they said you could no longer play up, until this year, in which they are allowing schools to play up one class.
Curtis and evangel will be in class 3a next year. Good luck to those guys!!
Lesage, Curtis is gonna beat shs as bad as I'm beating u in fantasy football!!!!
Shs has a few good athletes, but Curtis has a team full of great athletes.
The umpires for non-conference games are not from one particular conference. The home team usually provides the umpires. There is a local assignment secretary who handles games for schools such as LSU, Tulane, SLU, UNO, Nicholls, etc. Most of the umpires during non conference games are associated with SEC, Southland Conference, or CUSA when conference season starts.

What happened with Wes Luquette from Newman. I know he had some arm problems, but wasn't he in the running for catcher.

The rollout also occurred in georgia game and Jefferson stopped and was caught form behind. Might not work all the time.
In my opinion the problem is the o-line which puts pressure on JJ, who is young and afraid to make a mistake. In the video our lineman are on the ground. You can't really block from the ground.
