In the last two months, about a dozen houses in my neighborhood have had their roofs replaced.

I know they aren't all paying 15-20k and I don't know how they can make a claim because it has barely rained an inch for the last three months, let alone hail or storm.

So what's the secret here? Money under the table to the adjustor? Fake some damage? Certain contractors that know the loopholes?

My roof is showing its age and I am feeling like I dont know how to play this game.
