I went to a seminar a few months ago. The researcher was investigating a novel anti-cancer drug which was showing very promising results in mice. However, when they purchased a new mouse colony from a different supplier the drug stopped working. Having the same genetic background as the first colony, this was unexpected.
Turns out, the 2nd supplier was using different feed for their mice, which resulted in a different gut biota. Cross-transplantation of fecal matter from the 1st colony of mice to the 2nd restored the anti-cancer effect of the drug and vice-versa.

Apparently, most of the posters in this thread have not had to deal with the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) used in Big Pharma.

Financing the Purchase of 2 Vehicles at Once
Posted by mcaval4 on 8/27/15 at 11:29 pm
There is a possibility that the wife and I will be moving for my next job. We may be moving out of a metropolitan area where we rely on public transportation, Zipcar, and the ability to walk to work. If so, we may be required to purchase 2 vehicles.
How would financing the purchase of 2 vehicles work?
Assuming I buy from the same dealer, would it be a single loan for both vehicles or 2 loans(one for each)? In this case, would there be a difference between dealer lenders and outside lenders?

How to handle RSUs after vesting?
Posted by mcaval4 on 7/1/14 at 2:21 pm
My wife is employed by Starbucks and will have a few Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) vesting soon. How, should these be handled?
Let them sit?
Sell them for cash?
Can they be rolled into her 401k? Fidelity handles both the RSUs and her 401k.
Any recommendations are welcome.
Thanks,
mcaval4

Lived here 5.5 years. Our first year, it was a roach invested shite hole.
New management and maintenance came in, and it got nicer and nicer every year. We moved out Aug 2012.
$709-740
Walked to class or hopped on the bus.

I am from Pierre Part. I went to school with Jacob since kindergarten. I have only met his dad, Troy, a couple times. Really is a nice guy.

Bower needs to have his arse run out of town on the basis of that contract alone. Was he drunk when signing that one? Good grief, who did we have working that deal Ricky Williams agent(the one who signed him to that stupid deal with the Saints with all of the incentives)?

Brandon Jacobs Wiki
Maybe not the best but needs to be mentioned in LA at least.

If I remember correctly, Chavis made the comment in the offseason that at this level the secondary should play mostly man to man. Tonight we played zone until the 4th quarter when the game was in the balance. This makes me think that the scheme may have been very vanilla in accordance to the gameplan. I wonder what we will show next week in a conference game.

i hate leagues like this. i want people to know what theyre doing. its more fun when everybody is competitive
I understand this, however, I am good friends with most of the people in the league and it is always fun to talk a little shite when my team demolishes theirs. Also, since the league has a $200 pot...

On another note, How in the hell did MJD last until 9?
Happens every year in my league. Thats why I prefer drafting late, a couple people always make bad mistakes. Last year I drafted Brian Westbrook(predicted top player in PPR) at number 8.

With two starting QB spots in a 12 man league, I'm thinking of loading my bench up with QBs as well for trade value. There are only going to be 8 nonstarters in the league. I'm thinking grab 2 or 3 for the bench and watch the trade offers light up after week one.
check your league rules as to how many roster spots are allowed for QBs. for instance, mine only allows a max of 2 QBs.
