My first game at Tiger Stadium. Bought tickets from a co-worker that Friday who said he didn't want to go watch LSU get "killed". Easiest late night drive back to WM I've ever made.

I don't remember the previous 2, but wow.....we were in some great bowl games. To hear some of the folks on here, the 80's were terrible. I would take Sugar, Sugar, Orange in a 6 year span any day.

Wasn't that the year we played Neb and got pummeled in the Sugar Bowl? I was young but seem to remember them running all over us in the Dome.

I really like Coach O and there are a lot of positives he brings when it comes to recruiting, energy, loyalty. The one thing that keeps coming to mind is that he may only be as good as his coordinators on both sides of the ball. Sometimes its tough to keep a top OC and DC as they are looking for the next step. I'm genuinely torn.

I say Tommy Tuberville. I know that there is some bad blood there with a lot of Tiger fans, but a seasoned SEC coach may be just what we need instead of a mid major phenom, or Big10(conservative)/Big12(offensive minded) coach.

Is BCS berth out of the question?

This may have already been covered but here goes.
10 spots available in BCS.
AUTOMATIC BIDS
SEC - Bama or Fla
Big 10 - OSU(probably)
Big 12 - Tex
Pac 10 - Oregon
ACC - GA tech
Big East - Cincy

AT LARGE BIDS
Bama or Fla
Boise
TCU

Thats 9 teams and no one else is currently ranked higher in the BCS. I may be missing something, but assuming we win out, is a BCS berth possible?

I know this game has been on the Friday after Thanksgiving for a long time and it was always @ 2:30. Since it will be on Saturday this year, what will game time be and what are the factors that will determine this?

Brings back memories of Robert Lane running to Ole Miss when Russell and Flynn signed! That said...I'm glad he's a Tiger...and I think Lane now wishes he would've been even though he would have never played QB.

I know this may seem a little crazy, but is there a chance that the delay on RR getting his papers sent is due to Les' decision to yank the offer to Benton? I have heard that Benton and RR were friends.
