What about Steve Mariucci? Now on the NFL network. He was strongly rumored to be going to MSU (north) after his Detroit stint, never played out.

I agree with all but butch Davis. I'd take him over Miles and he isn't tied to UNC anyway. Quit acting like you know everything.

Absolutely not. He had a mental breakdown in Cleveland, is an average game coach, and moderately good recruiter. Had his day and is tired.

Oh how you people forget Davis' coaching abilities. His NFL stint does not have ANY bearing on him as a college coach.
I would take Butch in a heartbeat; I consider him to be a top 10 caliber coach in America. He is rebuilding UNC with some solid talent and has them consistently in the top 15-20 in his short tenure there.

He's done pretty good at UNC. Imagine what he could do with our talent!!!! I would take him and he is definitely not tied to UNC. He could join Alleva from his rival Duke.
