Used to be 5 to play 4, once you enrolled. That was with one redshirt or grey shirt. Oldest kid on the team was usually 22ish

Then it became 6 to play 4, with one grey and redshirt. Oldest kid was 23 ish

Then covid happen and and extra year was given so now kids are 24 which is crazy.

It all needs to change for sure

This is wild coming from an Arkansas fan. A football who hasn’t won the SEC fricking EVER!!!! The last time you even went to a NC game, was in what… 1979 and you were getting spanked by who?.. oh AlaFreakingBama. Yes you made it to the CWS game where you dropped your vulva and the ball and you ended up losing the series, but you are not any level above our program and we are average or slightly above at best.

You are a terrible sports program. You will never win a NC in football, baseball or basketball. It will never happen. Especially football.

North Carolina has one in 17 years. Kansas has one in 18 years. Michigan one in 37 years.

The best basketball program in the last 10 - 15 years is Duke and UConn, and it’s not even close. Florida is definitely up there but Kentucky basketball is top 5 biggest CBB names.

Iowa twice as wealthy as Auburn?? GTFOH!!! As much as I dislike those barners, that’s just stupid. Auburn has plenty of billionaires like Tim Cook CEO of Apple, the Yella Fella guy who’s a billionaire are.:: and not to mention the Gorrie family, who one of the largest construction companies on the planet. It would take nothing for them to give a hundred million. All schools have billionaires, it’s just how they spend their money. Maybe the SEC schools aren’t willing to sell their souls for a good player that they know will screw them in the end.

Ridiculous take man. Just because Texas has been irrelevant for 20+ years doesn’t mean the SEC is. There will be fat years, and there will be slim. Maybe next year the Big10 doesn’t win anything and the SEC wins all 3? What will you say then? 2 of the last 3 major sports have defending SEC champs. Teams in the SEC have enough money to compete with anyone, but you still have to put it all together, and get hot and make shots and don’t commit errors and tackle. The SEC still leads in transfer rankings and recruiting rankings, but the teams have to mesh a play well.
