That would be like Bama retiring 12. You simply can’t retire it. Bear Bryant actually started the tradition because he wore 12 at the end of his career when he played at Alabama.

This site is all LSU fans have. Their state sucks. Their kids education sucks. Football team sucks. Hell… you know it’s bad in Baseball when Bama make it further in baseball. Basketball is atrocious. Hell the straps keeping their trailer secure even sucks. They are clinging to the hope a substance abuser will save their athletic program.

Not necessarily. Ole Miss may be behind LSU but not that far. There are characteristics that Ole Miss has that is better than LSU. Just because he left OM to go to LSU doesn’t mean it was because it’s better.

Maybe that’s just who they are. Just because you have access to more money, does not make you rich. A lambo in the driveway screams I need attention away from my drowning.

As long as we are signing the top player in Louisiana, Top player in Georgia.. we’ll be fine.
Also, the current 2026 recruiting class we were number 2 overall in CFB and best in the SEC, and signed the top Bama kid.
2027 top bama kid was Philip Rivers kid. Nobody had a shot at him. He was going to NC State from birth. Plus we signed the top QB in the class from Louisiana. lol
