1. Edinburgh. My favorite city in the world.
2. Saint Petersburg, Ru. The Winter Palace and Nevsky Prospekt are surprisingly more European than Soviet.
3. Munich.
Let Down
Dublin. We stayed too many days there before making our way down to County Cork.

Juneau and Fairbanks Recommendations

We have four adults (two couples) going to Juneau and then onto Fairbanks over the Mardi Gras break to see the Northern Lights. Does anyone have dining recommendations for either city?
re: Long Weekend in May - Nashville or New Orleans?

My wife (no pics) and I just returned from a long weekend in Nashville. The Broadway area is extremely clean, with live music (not just country music) in every bar/honkey tonk you pass, and plenty to do if you stay in the area. We did a Saturday night at the Grand Ole Opry, visited the Country Music Hall of Fame, and traveled to Lynchburg to tour the Jack Daniels Distillery. We drove to Lynchburg (1 hr to 1.5 hr drive), but they have several bus tours that leave from the downtown area on most days. I got a New Orleans feel, but it was fresher and cleaner, and we felt reasonably safe walking around at night.
Thank you very much.
Sounds great. Much appreciated.
Thank you.
Mendocino County, California

My wife and I are traveling to Mendocino County, California, specifically Elk, CA, for a quiet getaway in late May/early June. I am looking for recommendations on the must-do's while we are there. This is our first time visiting the Golden State. Any help is much appreciated.
