Why does Lebanon tolerate Hezbollah?

Same reason Mexico tolerates cartels. Poor military and corrupt government. Like the cartels in Mexico, in some areas of Lebanon, Hezbollah does better for the locals than Lebanon government

I believe they have anywhere between 50-100k fighters counting reserves. Not sure how big Lebanese military is.

i believe that the Lebanese government and it's government lack the ability to overthrow Heabollah. The thing that will get rid of these terrorist is lack of funding for their operation. No $$ No Hezbollah. Iran is banking their operational existence. Hopefully they abide by the agreement and stop funding their proxies. Hoties, Hezbelloah and Hamas. The triple HHH of terror.
