If we were all able to get pass the idea of Trinidad playing a six year at Ole Miss we all should be ok with guys getting a fifth year with the rule change I mean everyone knows the goal for these kids is to make it to the NFL but when your a late round pick or undrafted free agent it would make all the sense in the world to come back and make the money in college most of these kids won’t have nfl careers so as a parent you woukd most def rather your son have a head start at life with the NIL opportunities just in case he didn’t make it in the NFL and had to start Life with a regular job so it will look kind of cheesy his first season, knowing that we’ve seen some some of these kids play preseason ball and then come back to college after this year. You won’t notice it the same because these kids will make a decision prior to entering the draft just think about it Jac Piburn, knowing he had a fifth year would have never entered the draft knowing he was gonna go on drafted he would have came back for fifth year and try to raise his draft stop and that’s the whole point

For leaving for more money and resources and now most of ole miss team or top players are leaving because of money where’s the media and ole miss talking heads now??? Where’s the outrage??? lol go tigers

You know for a fact Lane will play the best player at each position it won’t be like past coaches that played kids based experience or how much money they gave them it’s a beautiful feeling knowing you have a coach that cares about winning more than anything

We only have two returning WRs on the roster and 3 high school kids coming in we really need a few more honestly this past season Pane had like 14 WRs at ole miss im sure he wants to be around that number

We need 3 QBs out the portal
And about 5 offensive linemen
At least 2 defensive linemen and hope the young guys coming in can give you some playing time…Dom looks like a kid ready to go play with his brother….

If you’re a good DC or OC you will up for jobs every year for the most part!!! The reason why almost everyone under saban in a head coach now it’s the beauty of the game

would you push them toward the college offering the most NIL money or tradition/playing time??

With the transfer portal now recruiting doesn’t matter as much!! Just imagine how bad this team would’ve been if we didn’t spend money in the portal…all those 4&5 star kids are on the bench for the most part those kids need time to develop…said all this to say if we lose a coach it shouldn’t bother you as much working the transfer portal is the way to go… why give a high school kid all the nil money to sit on the bench when you could give it to the kid in the portal that has shown his ready to play now!! Go tigers!!??
