The future here is bright… but after last night watching us play park ball there’s no way the leash isn’t short for Sam moving forward there were at least 8 throws in this game that were missed and would have been routine for most D1 quarterbacks.. could the defensive scheme been much better? Yes but there were too many moments in the game last night were Sam had open WRs and decided to tuck the ball and run

You can't look at any throw in a vacuum, thats not how playing QB works
Yes, he missed some throws he'll admit he should have made but there was nothing routine about that LSU faced last night

It’s clear to me he doesn’t trust the OLine. You are right, though, on replays you could see several guys running free.

He’s been a very poor thrower of the football.

Most D1 QBs would not have played much better in that environment. Some would have, not most.
