why the hell would you tip at a sub way or any fast food joint? its not my fault they dont get paid better. maybe make better life choices instead of complaining that someone that did make the right choices should pay them on top of ridiculous over priced food.

re: Marlin 30 30. What is the boards take on this rifle. I am buying one used.
Posted by Alucard67516 on 8/3/23 at 12:06 pm to themunch
the jm stamped marlins are highly sought after. They were quality made guns and hold value. i had one that i bought used from a pawn shop and paid 225 for and turned around a few years later and sold it for around 400. 30-30 is a cartridge that has taken more deer than any other and is a great brush round. you cannot go wrong with a good old lever gun in 3030 and marlin made some really good ones with the side load and side ejection. youre able to scope them easy and reload easy. henry is a beeter action but only the newer ones are side load

re: House Painters...Why do they all look like they've just got released from prison?

Aircraft painter for 12 years. The reason they show up in dirty painted clothes is because they care more about the paint on the product than their own clothes. 2nd they drive a crappy looking van is because who wants paint stains or paint leaking in a nice vehicle. And if they kept everything cleaned and spotless then their over head would be alot higher which they would pass that bill to the home owner. Some people need to get their heads out of their asses and quit judging people on how they look and judge them on the quality of their work. Not everyone is a Beta male who worries about their appearance. Maybe they just worry about doing a good quality job for a good honest pay

Just let the grass grow for awhile. Most people mess their new grass up bc they get impatient and either constantly cut it smashing ruts into it or cut it too early and it dies out. Just let it grow for awhile and establish a good root system and then cut it to desired height a little bit at a time.

re: How did you cope with putting your dog down?
Posted by Alucard67516 on 7/28/23 at 3:51 am to prplhze2000
I didn't.
A week later my vet begged me to rescue a Frenchie. 8 years old and in a really bad situation. I took her in. Never have really formed an emotional attachment with her, but she helped me at the time by giving me something to focus on. She needed help bad. Tried to give her to friend after a few days but she was already following me around.
Just be there with him when the time comes. He will be scared and needing comfort in his final moments. If you are scared or emotional to the extreme it will be more stressful for your dog. Just think about the happy moments that you got to experience with him and be thankful that you had such an impact on their life. Something to think about is pets may only be with us for a short time of our lives but we are a part of their entire life. So you are probably the best thing that they had in their lives and feel comfort that fate brought you to them and them to you

I recently lost my grandfather he was 83 and then 4 days later my beagle i had for 14 years went into kidney failure and had to be put down. It is hard to deal with for sure but at least i was lucky enough to be a part of their lives. I could have never had the dog but was lucky to spend the time i did with him. So when he was put to sleep i was thankful that i was the one who got to spend his life with. And just remembered to be grateful for that time. I wasnt sad when i lost either my grandfather or my dog but grateful that i had those experiences with them. Just think the dog could have been with some abusive A-hole. Or my grandfather could have passed in one of the wars he was in. So i felt grateful not sad that they was gone. Nothing in this world will ever last. Even the universe has to go out at some point!!!
re: Anybody on here ever work at Subway Subs? If so, is this actually true?

I did when i was a teenager. Met some interesting people. But most of the time it is the overly large people who end up looking like the posted pic. Not being mean but come on i didnt need you mouth breathing over the counter.

Sitting here thinking REALLY hard and I don't think I've ever won a damn thing. Maybe a few bucks at a card game but that MIGHT be it.
Same with me, i buy raffle tickets for stuff just in hopes maybe luck will hook me up. But i just fund what ever the hell it is that they are trying to raise money for. Hell if i was smarter i would just bet that i wouldnt win

well how the f*ck am i supposed to buy my guns, hookers and drugs. LOL. Just pay cash for the guns. everybody is so worried about being tracked with their firearm purchases but turn around and charge a card or use a debit card. Just use cash and keep it simple stupid. On plus side your local arms dealer may even forgo the taxes for cash or give you a discount bc cash can be used under the table for his other hustles

so you would put the bergara over the tikka?
re: Tikka t1x 22lr vs Bergara BMR 22lr

only thing is my friend runs a cz 457 and i dont want the same gun as him
re: Tikka t1x 22lr vs Bergara BMR 22lr
Posted by Alucard67516 on 7/20/23 at 8:49 am to kengel2
The cost of the rifle itself has to be 800 or less. This does not include scope, or drop in triggers, or gunsmithing or scopes or stocks. But it has to be bought it can not be just buy a receiver and then have a barrel and the build it yourself or have a gunsmith build it for you. so that is why i was thinking the tikka or the bergara

yeah the only reason i havent looked at a cz is bc my friend has one and i dont want the same exact rifle. Trust me the cz 457 varmint precision trainer is THE rifle to have but like i said i dont want the same setup as him. But this is going to be a prs rifle i have plenty of lower end 22s that i can plink or kill random wandering pest on the farm. just looking for long range tack drivers really
