I don’t want to bash Dahvon Keys, dude is a solid player but the same issues he had as a freshman, he has now. A step slow, a tick below athletically.
He should have picked the pass in overtime. But he can’t because he’s not athletic enough. It’s completed and a nice gain. Weeks at least breaks that pass up.
Sucks

One thing I know for sure, Weeks checks then out of cover 2 man on the 2 point when they shifted 5 wide. He would not have left the middle exposed like that.

Same as last year. This version of Bakers defense is heavily reliant on Weeks against decent offenses.

Losing Spears in the biggest blow to the defense. Benefield is much better at safety

Injuries happen. Coaching needs to be better. Period

Talking about an individual play here. No one can make Keys quicker.

Weeks was a coach on the field, we miss that as much as his athleticism

1 sack, 3 TFL, getting gashed for a 77 yd run and NOT making plays to stop a UK team in the final drive before half, with under 2 mins left in the game, and in OT. The opportunities were there. It was an awful performance by the DEF coaching staff and players during execution.
