Big companies are starting to walk back a lot of DEI crap specifically after Muldrow v. City of St. Louis SCOTUS decision. I think an actual SCOTUS case (that was a 9-0 decision) basically putting it into law that that to get damages you don't even need to show a "materially significant" disadvantage because of programs similar to DEI that are practiced by a company or organization. I think that was tipping point along with all of the bad press and the pendulum swing in public opinion. Some universities and governments are getting ahead of the lawsuits by junking a lot of DEI initiatives. Organizations like the YMCA are probably just going to be a little slower on the uptake because they probably don't have as much immediate liability. I am actually pretty positive about DEI going down as it is now. I'm sure the leftist will be back at it with another method but it is a game of whack-a-mole with those guys.

He’s 37-9 all time. That’s good, not great. Especially coaching in pathetic conferences

So what would you call Kelly's 1st 46 games in the FBS?

19-16 in the MAC and then 8-3 in the Big East

27-19 overall in even more pathetic conferences and no Championship game.

You really want to play this game?

We are gathering intel for their enemy. They took out our drone with some jet fuel and maybe a fender bender.

Wreckless? Looks like they accomplished exactly what they wanted to accomplish without firing a shot.

What top state secrets will Russia or anyone else get out of this? That clipping the propeller of a drone will bring it down? It's not like we gave them the plans to the deathstar. It's airplane 101. Damaged propeller causes aircraft to go down. The reports on what happened were already out there.

And reckless has a lot of definitions, one being "irresponsible". I think that most would consider intentionally bringing down another nation's aircraft over international waters is "irresponsible".
Why not show it? What exactly would be negatively impacted by releasing the simple video? It's just bad publicity for the Russians to show them being reckless
Interactive Polls literally did a poll last week of GOP Primary voters where they said that only 39% of them think Trump can win the election and 48% think DeSantis would win.

People don't always vote who they want to win if they don't think they will win.
You need to question any Latino who uses the term Latinx. Only like 4% of them like the term.

So if you are against child abuse, you support what exactly? What is "this"

Your beef is with WBT.

ETA: I didn’t make the graphic.

Again, not angry. I actually like it when you post that graphic and how you get all defensive about it being not your graphic. Please don't delete it because I look forward to seeing it again.

t’s simple. Nick Sabah is a baby back, excuse making, pussy arse bitch.

Dude... being a bitch about the calls you don't like is a second job for LSU fans. You guys literally pay for billboards to advertise to the world how much of a bitch you guys are.
Their kids have not spent the last several decades spending half their school learning about fuzzy wuzzy liberal policies. Why is it hard to believe their scientists are at the very least as capable as US scientists when it comes to weapons development? They are actually raising kids that know how to do productive shite.

It’s because the GOAT President watched Joe Burrow and Co. drag their nuts on the team Aluhbumma fans swore would be one of the greatest of all-time.

Then, that same Aluhbumma team lost to LSU and Auburn before LSU went on to become the undisputed, greatest college football team of all-time.

That’s why you give a shite.

If that makes you feel better, you be you. I won't stop you.

Alabama gave up 40+ points in a loss to LSU, at home, in front of a sitting US President.

I'm trying to figure out why I give a shite about whether the president was sitting in a suite watching the game... Can someone else explain it to me?

I guess you guys need to find your wins where you can. But I honestly don't care whether he was in a suite or watching on his phone from his toilet.

Please stick to your main sport you cute little BB school fans.

Yet out of the two, guess who has been to a New Years 4/6 Bowl in the past 20 years.
Sounds like a sad attempt at a recruiting pitch that anyone will eventually figure is complete bullshite.
Seems like I would seek a few more sources to confirm this on top of the former Texas QB that everyone knew was being replaced.

Muh "Everyone is out to get LSU cuz dey skurred".

Seems like a sect over LSU prefers the "everybody is scared of us" explanation over "none of the bluebloods are retarded enough to get caught on FBI audio and pay players out of a joint bank account with your wife" explanation.

One makes you look like a victim who is a badass and the other makes you look like... well... complete retards.
So you think an NCAA punishment of Baylor' LOIC for Title IX crap, something that the NCAA admitted they have very little in their bylaws addressing, will be the same as a punishment for LOIC that involves paying players, something they have very very clear authority in their bylaws addressing?

This thread should be whacked for lack of sources

Unless that is a one day thing, this whole forum is going to be really quiet if that rule goes into effect.

from my understanding

Case closed. That's how all these things work. School has some trouble and discloses EVERYTHING that happened to a journalist so they can decide if the school followed the rules. Schools are really good at telling journalist everything they did, the good and the bad.

3% Agent Commission for 1.83 million.
In 2007, the top federal tax rate was 35% so once you calculate that, the tax on 61 Million is 21,329,074
Hard to figure his state tax since it is based on games he plays in certain states. Lets say half of his income was in California at an effective rate of around 10.5 (that was about he highest bracket in California in 2007). That's 3,205,446 in California. Lets half that for the rest of the states to be conservative. Another 1.6 million gone. Totaling taxes and agent fee, that's
28 million gone.
Your logic is that since Alabama didn’t play those good offenses, it makes LSU better. Can’t argue against that excellent logic.
quote:

Shut up, moron Who you play matters. We played Oregon and West Virginia ooc, plus had the SEC championship game. Who did Bama play?

If you compare how both teams performed vs the same opponents, you get:

Arkansas
Ala gave up 14 (home)
LSU gave up 17 (home)

Auburn
Ala gave up 14 (away)
LSU gave up 10 (home)

Ole Miss
Ala gave up 7 (away)
LSU gave up 3 (away)

Miss State
Ala gave up 7 (away)
LSU gave up 6 (away)

Florida
Ala gave up 10 (away)
LSU gave up 11 (home)

So common opponents,
Alabama 52 (1 home game)
LSU 47 (3 home games)

I guess you can create fictitious games for the other opponents but these are the common opponents and it looks pretty much identical.
Well if an LSU fans say they are not biased in their claim that LSU is the best out of a group of teams, that is all I need to hear to be convinced.
quote:

Yep, they need to be treated like pros now. Have contracts and salary caps/luxury taxes to try to build competitive balance and some measure of competitive integrity.

The NCAA would probably lose tax exempt status the second they try to set up anything close to a “salary cap”. They already walk a tightrope but making any rule that ties competitive balance with how much a kid makes out of NIL will pretty much end tax exempt status. You can read up on hearings in Washington about the NCAA and athletes getting paid. If the NCAA is ok with losing tax exempt status, they may consider all of that but I don’t think anyone wants to lose it.
Im not calling anyone racist here but you do know Baylor is mostly rich white Baptist in the middle of Texas…. I doubt you will find many BLM bumper stickers around the Superdome today on cars with Texas plates
How disrespectful and arrogant!!!!
There is no way the NCAA steps in and dictates a student pays back their scholarship. It’s really up to a school and it’s not worth it to them. It’s a sunk cost at that point and a school just looks bad to future recruits if they do that. Just not worth it. And the only party that will be able to touch on paying back NIL deals in case of an opt out is the business itself. That’s about the only way they are going to get these draft eligible kids back in bowl games. The NCAA will get killed if they get involved the terms of NIL if it forces kids to pay back the money they were contracted to receive.
