re: LSU and Mediocrity

y'all need to hire a good OC and make Miles keep his hands off the offense.
Sounds a lot like last year in Tuscaloosa, doesn't it. LSU didn't want anymore of Bama after 11/5.
LSU/Bama are still the two best teams in the country. A plus 1 will make it an All SEC BCSCG more common than ever.

Yet y'all had to get home to feed your pet gators.
It's not nearly as bad as the mugging y'alls defender put on our receiver in the endzone 2 years ago and then intercepted the ball with the official looking right at it, and never moved toward his flag. You do remember that, don't you?
There's a link to the article on TideFans. Several articles have been pulled, but there is a google page capture from before the article was modified slightly. Being as it was pulled, I tend to think someone ran their mouth without all the facts; and were threatened with slander if they didn't remove/retract it. If the article is true, it's big trouble, pay for play is always a primary violation even if the guy didn't play. We had it with Albert Means and it cost us huge. Good Luck.

For whatever reason, the img code isn't working for the pics. I have them on Photobucket, and they posted okay on another site when I tried it. Does photobucket work here?

Which call was worse? Corey Webster's INT against Alabama and the lack of pass interference called. I guess what goes around comes around?
AMEN! Does this mean that LSU fans renounce the 2007 Alabama game and the SEC and BCS titles from that year? I doubt it.
The interception was iffy at best, coulda gone either way, I'd be inclined to call it an Int myself. I also think Bama got robbed on the spot that led to the LSU safety. An LSU player was standing at the 4 yard line, the ball hit at the 2 yard line and bounced toward the player, he put his hand down, and the ball changed direction back toward the goal line. That ball should have been placed at the 4 yard line, and if it had, the safety never would have happened. Result 2 points for LSU and great field position on the free kick. I'm sure if the picture poster wanted to, he could post these pics as well, but I would be willing to bet that he doesn't, because it doesn't help his argument about biased refs, and in fact hurts it.

That's what I thought it was. Or maybe the no-call when the LSU player touched the punt on the 4 yard line, but it was placed at the 6 inch line. If that ball had been placed where it was touched, the safety never happens, so it DIRECTLY led to points for LSU. Bad calls went both ways in this game. They pretty much equaled out.
