Has Every LSU Starter Cemented Their Legacy on 11/3?

I mean they went out there, against the number one team in the nation, and beat their asses every play of every down well almost every play. They DO NOT want to play us again. They know that we were better and have the more talented team. Extremely proud of our boys. And better yet, our fans. When we went down 14-3 I heard many people say "get ready, it's about to get ugly." But even they didn't leave they still stayed, supported our tigers and cheered them on to victory. Best game ever in Tiger Stadium. And I believe every Tiger has cemented his legacy from that one game.

Because we lost at home? These moral victories are killing me. Who are we, Kentucky?

They beat us in our stadium in one of the most amped up environments ever when we played our best game of the year, by far. Why do you think they are scared to play us again?

I wouldn't go as far as to say scared - but they definitely know that it is going to be a tossup based on which team has the hotter hand/luck on that day.

LSU beat Bama last year but all that you could hear from the media/bamatards/rest were that it was a statistical victory in theory but that Bama was better and that LSU would be beaten the second time around.

It could be that Miles was not totally confident that he didn't need tricks and made some bad decisions in hindsight.

Well this time, IF ( and I am pretty sure there won't be a second this year) there is a second game, Miles will not be playing tricks and instead KNOWS that this team can beat them upfront.

A victory is not assured (between two good teams) but won't be a surprise.

This fanbase has taken on a little brother syndrome entirely too quickly. I wonder if this was Florida or Georgia in this scenario would we be so quick to claim moral victories.

I don't understand op. You guys were getting beat 14-3 at half. If it wasn't for an uncharacteristic fumble at the 5 yard line it would've been 21-3.

The title is a bit dramatic.

I shall give you the benefit of doubt of not trolling and just being naive and stupid.

The game is played for 4 quarters / 2 halves / 60 minutes - which is precisely how the last 2 minutes mattered.

It is fricking stupid to talk about getting beat in the first half.

If the refs had called more than a single hold on the bloody waltz that the Bama O was doing then they wouldn't have crossed the 50 leave alone be in the red zone.

If the Bama OG/OT was penalized for 15 yards for being thuggish against Mingo it would have been a different game.

If the refs had called the holding on Minter by 55(6?) it would have been different.

Don't be THAT idiot talking about the fumble alone being a different play and being a gift.

There is a unique feature about any fumble - it is all lack of concentration / discipline to hold the ball. If it fumbles then it was caused by the defense physically or the mental tension caused by the D to force the player to make a play.

Either way it is caused by the presence of the other team on the field - Bama just didn't toss the ball to the LSU D when the ball was snapped.

Sounds a lot like last year in Tuscaloosa, doesn't it. LSU didn't want anymore of Bama after 11/5.
