MARPS - Trust Fall?

Posted by Levatikyn on 6/4/20 at 8:04 pm
(Disclaimer: I currently hold shares of MARPS, and should be assumed biased) I’ll put my analysis below, but I also had a question to the veteran investors of the forum: Is there something not easily seen with trust stocks? Are they just boring, or some flaw that investors would stay away? ...

re: Bought SDOW $37.14

UPDATE: I was 9% down at one point today, but I never felt like selling, or that it wasn’t going to reverse. With the stimulus announcement, it only reaffirms that the market is in trouble, sadly, and will collapse soon. I’m holding tonight and into tomorrow....

UPDATE: Just bought SDOW again at $37.90, and will hold through until tomorrow. The Dow is up 2000 points in 3 days, and investors will want to cash in soon. The question is asking where the bottom is, and how long will people keep selling....

UPDATE: Sold at 39.80 because I’m not sure if the market will spike up or down tomorrow morning. I’m thinking it will rebound a bit in the morning, and start to slip late morning/ early afternoon? The market will start to slip and fall tomorrow or Thursday is my best guess. Maybe after a news co...

I hope I’m wrong too, I want the market to recover. I just don’t see us being there yet. Businesses need to open back up, and people need to go back to work for our economy to recover....

Bought SDOW $37.14

My Opinion: The market is being held up artificially, and will tank again Wednesday or Thursday. The rally were seeing here is investors buying after the market dip last week, and they’re going to sell off here shortly. Thoughts and rebuttals?...
Interesting question... JNJ is a solid company. Forget the vaccine, they make products/ brands that people need right now. Also, it’s a brand, not a store. So they can sell their products anywhere that’s open. How much do you think their worth? It’s all about timing, and buying for a price...
Lsutiger2424 Looks like they are both headed wayyy down. Gm sales dropped 7% in the first quarter
Interesting question! What would you think Ford is worth to buy? $157B in debt, $22B Cash, and $47M Avi to Common income from $156B in revenue the past twelve months. T...

@Decisions :: Thank you for the response. I had considered the pound, but I wasn’t sure. Very convincing to not consider popular currencies, because they’ll be issuing bailouts as well. @iAmBatman :: Your “specialty” is something everyone can do, state opinion as a fact. I’m coming here to...

Yeah, Japan put forward a 100 trillion Yen ($1 trillion) stimulus, Australia a A$130 billion, and Canada $75 bil. I looked through the 27 euro countries and found mixed results. Netherlands is not having it! ?? Thank you for your response Ultima, and you’ve brought up a great point. Batman, ...

Alright, let me be more specific: UDN has been steadily going up the past few weeks, and it’s a bear against the US dollar. It tracks world currencies against the dollar, and retuned about 3.5% last week. There are inverse etfs 4x leveraged against the dollar, but are specific to the Euro, Ye...

Bearish Dollar VS What Currency?

Posted by Levatikyn on 3/30/20 at 8:43 am
With a 2 Trillion dollar stimulus, the dollar should drop in value about 15%. Which currency should I buy now to bet against the dollar? I’m not too familiar with other currencies and their values. Why do I think the dollar will be diminished 15%? We currently have 10.5 trillion dollars in the...
