Don't come to Louisiana. Go to Oklahoma or North Texas where there are plenty of t-canadian geese.

But like another poster said, you will likely need to find a couple more buddies to join in

Vinci w. Patternmaster Code Black and Boss 2-3/4 #5.

Good luck finding shells. I can't wait to see the fighting on facebook's Louisiana Duck Hunters about the shell shortage.
Terrebonne Assessor mapping website page will show you landowners. There are lots of cheap long term leases down there.

Also I have seen facebook marketplace listing camps pre-storm.

Used the Dive Bomb silhouettes and socks last year and they worked well. Very light weight.

I credit our success to the equipment because our speck calling was horrible. My partner sounds like an ambulance and I refused to blow at them I was so bad.

Was this in Louisiana? I have seen some good SWLA speck guides comment online that the silhouettes and socks don't work well there.
Stihl MS 170 is the way to go.

I also highly recommend the the Stihl chisel saw blade ($25) for weed eater heads. It works better than chainsaw on saplings and small branches--if you are looking for clearing shooting lanes
Boss Shotshell Podcast on Shortages

Boss Shotshell founder is on the above podcast talking about the shortages. It sounds like a powder based shortage base at the powder manufacturing level due in part to government and non-shotshell ammo demand. While Boss has some product in stock, there could be out of supply in a few months.

Boss is a few bucks more, but I have been very happy with its performance and knockdown power.
Not anywhere around Gueydan. Few birds and too much pressure

Find the right outfitters and you can make three or four out of state trips and kill plenty of good ducks and geese for what you are all in on a lease out there.
Obviously not a true Rene's guy as you would spell it correctly. Now stay across the street at the Goose.

ATV- Buffalo/Stubble Roller

Anyone have experience using an atv sized stubble roller to open up fields? LINK

I am looking to have one fabricated, so any info on performance, specs (pipe diameter, blade length), and weight would be great.
