They must be doing OK because the owners just opened New York Pizza and Pasta in the old Arby’s building on Jones Creek. Smaller menu, and no fancy dining room, but almost the exact same food for cheaper prices....

Agree. The food was horrible. It sounded great on the menu, but it was disgusting on the plate. I’m not sure if Phil has advertised that he used to be the head chef at Pelican House or if it was on his resume, though. ...

We went on opening day, a few hours after they opened and were seated at a table that had visible sticky spots on them. And these spots weren’t from that day because they had acquired that grey color to them when sticky stuff is left on a surface and dirt is allowed to collect.

I weigh more than my old man, but he works 12 hours a day in the oil field, so he burns a lot of calories....
