i'm pretty sure there's only 1 hdmi output on a ps3. I have it set up the way as stated above... PS3 HDMI to TV, TV components(or hdmi) to surround....

I haven't tried online yet, but the single player is fun. It's not a horror like fear, but throws you in the middle of a war with all kinda stuff going on around you. It's well done in my opinion....
