Can't really compare the 2 IMO
WoW = hardcore progressive raiding with a little PVP thrown in,
WAR = PVP/RVR is the main focus of the game.

I played the whole time while BETA was going on. Im waiting to start on thursday. Im going with the dark crag server(open rvr). Good game so far.

Open RVR ruins the game IMO. Spreads people all over the server instead of concentrating people in the scenarios and RVR where it belongs. Much harder to get the big fights going
