TLDR; we need four more OL commits. Will have to pull from out of state. We are not in position to say,” we just have to get them next year. “

Searched for the Oline issues are legit thread. But with Van Pran not even mentioning LSU, Oline is the problem. We would be okay if there was actual talent at Oline in La. but there isn’t.

If we keep Berry and Gaye -Or- if we let them go and actually land Roy/Guillory, Dline looks set.

We have 14 Dline for just three positions. D end is in best depth numbers in a long time.
So on to Oline. ........,

We only have 15 Oline for 5 positions. And some of these guys won’t see the field.

*****this is 2020. Not this year so that is why Traore etc are not here.
Center-
If cole Smith leaves, center will be at the worst depth we’ve ever seen. A guard will move inside.

Guard-
Donavaughn Campbell looked the part but is getting supplanted so we really only have 5

Left Tackle-
I suppose Cam Jackson ends up here.
We are really desperate that Wire/Rosenthal will take this position and not look back. This will do Ensminger get a huge favor.

Right tackle.
Charles would do fine here.
Hoping T Perry can stay here. If not he bumps Inside .

——overall, bad depth everywhere.

We arent taking 4 more OL this class, it will be 3 at most. Maybe 4 if Jackson doesn't end up in the class.

My guess is we take 2 more OL, if we dont have to replace either current commit.

Not upset that you’re pointing this out.

But looking into 2021 and 2022, I will have been tired of suggesting that some incoming frosh should be able to contribute immediately instead of the guys we got last year waiting their turn and playing well.

This is a definite problem and yes.......75% chance i need to take some Dramamine

I can see Charles Turner eventually making the switch to Center.

Gumbo with rice.

I remember seeing last year where 247sports had him at 270. The roster has him at 245 right now.

We are talking about having to gain 45 lbs.

Also saw him fielding punts at all star game. So maybe he’s got ball skills to stick at tight end.

Charles is not working out at TE, he's on the OL. He played OL in the spring game

Cool.

Let’s get him a backup as well, this year. Otherwise we are not really leaving the Ol depth problems that we had with miles.

-murao
-van Pran is a no (for now)
-I still dont see how Justin Rodgers will go to Kentucky.
-raym
-late offer

With Ingram coming back it will be Cush-Hines-Charles at center more than likely. They will be grooming Hines to take over for Cush, it's unlikely Cush comes back for a 5th year if he has as good or better a year this year as last season.

I am assuming that by next year, Parker will have put on significant weight, even if he stays at tight end.

He will not stay at 230 for the rest of his LSU career. Regsrdless of position.

Jimmy Deets basically said Bradford will be taking a tackle spot by mid season.

Man, this guy could be an elite LT.

Really wish he'd focus on getting his weight wayyy up and switching positions. That is where he could make the money.

Lots of dominant LT's started out as big, athletic TEs early in their career.

Whoa.

Roster says he’s 6-7 355.

I thought he was 6-4 355.

Big difference.

If he doesn’t have ball skills, don’t waste his tjme at tight end. If you put out a tight end that has no threat as a receiver, you may as well put out another tackle for protection.

Parker is a TE all the way now. He has no interest in playing OL. He literally lost 20-30 pounds recently and is 230 pounds.

even if cushenberry had an amazing season I don't see him playing his way into anything about the 3rd round this season. He will be here 2 more years.
