That's just mean, I remember that like it was yesterday...wen't from woo hoo we're gonna win the title to wait..what???
Odd take some of you on here have of his comments. Wouldn't his comments actually go in favor of LSU and fire them up? It's not like they're going to say well Vilma said we don't respect our coach so let's go out and tank?
Yes, often times those games were on a Saturday, not saying that's the sole reason, but it's one of them.
quote:

ven today the Hurricanes play home games at a rented stadium 45 minutes away and if they are playing teams like Wake Forest or NC State...you could throw hand grenades into the stands and not hurt a soul. They only fill the stadium when they play FSU or if they schedule a Nueter Dame. If they visit your school...bring lots of hand sanitizer. Last time they were in Gainesville they had a mob yelling and screaming for a fight on the main street. I hate they are on our schedule next year.

Leave it to a Uif fan to spew bullshite.
One, you hate playing us because we've pretty much owned you since 1978, two we do pretty well attendance wise for a small(10K) private school, sure we'll never have the "attendance" trophy's like the gators, but we're ok with that, not sure why you care?

As for the question asked in the 50's & 60's Miami only had a handful of high schools and they would routinely draw 40-50K for the big games like Miami High vs Jackson.

The university on the other hand was only founded in 1925 and was an afterthought for many.

I think that will get into Maliks head a little, I dont think hes polished enough for that,

He's not wired like that, I'm sure you saw him bring us back vs our biggest rival on the road with a minute to play.

He may have other faults but getting rattled isn't one of them.
Take all the shots you like at Rosier, but to place your fortunes at the feet of a guy who had to transfer due to the fact he couldn't win the job is much more suspect.

I guess we'll see Sunday, good luck!

I am going to go with intelligent accurate QB (his MO)

As opposed to a guy a guy with you know actual experience...

Gotta hand it to you those are funny as hell.
You act as though we have a choice in our conference schedule. Should we just tell the ACC we refuse and only want to play the AP top 12 once the poll comes out?
While it would be great to beat LSU it has zero effect on our goal which is to get back to the ACCCG.
I think you might be surprised at how many Miami fans are there.

As for the shots at Miami's attendance, we do better in attendance than all but two private schools, ND & USC, and USC is twice our size.
We have around 10K undergrads.

We also have the third highest attendance for a school located in a major metro market, again behind USC and Washington, both at least twice our size.
I think our DE's and back 7 on defense as well as the talent at the skill positions are whats boosting our ranking.
If we can get the same production from the QB and OL as LY then I think we're gonna be hard to beat.

Last year injuries and playing 12 weeks straight killed us.
We had one ptitful performance last season vs. Pitt, Clemson was just better and we threw away the Wisky game.
