Dr Jones

Has anyone been? Interesting but small menu.

Update : Had a really good dinner at Dr. Jones. The beets were delicious and full of flavor. the salmon crudo was the most surprising and delightful dish of the night. Bright, lemony, paired with sweet gooseberries not a combination I would’ve expected to work as well as it did. The oysters were crispy and perfect.

The larger plates were more lightly seasoned but still fantastic across the board. We rarely order chicken at restaurants because it’s usually the safe, boring option, but this one was cooked perfectly and absolutely worth getting. The shrimp and rice was mild at first bite but had a deep flavor to it.
The bread pudding was exactly what bread pudding should be and nothing it shouldn’t , no random fruit shoved into it for no reason.
Will definitely be back.

Sounds like the beginning to a communist manifesto.

Dont be a sucker and believe the side that tells you you’re being taken advantage of.

If you don’t like what you’re doing find a way to survive and don’t let others determine your standards.

Now, I’ll keep working hard in order to have fun and have great times with family and friends

It beats the alternative of living with dirt floors, no ac and paddling a dugout

Thanks for the ideas. Definitely more than can be done in 1 day. The giants are always that day. The rest of the trip will be in Napa, Yountville area. Hot air balloon, train ride , food and drinks. Any tips on booking a reservation at the French Laundry are welcome

It’s a 25 th anniversary trip. So I’m following the wife’s directions. Pics on page 5

Gator tail clutch bearings

Have the gator tail clutch bearings been discussed here? My motor with 20 hours on it blew the bearing in the clutch. When I called gator tail, they were quite aware that this was a frequent issue. Covered by the warranty, but quite a PITA

I find that there is a direct correlation between those that complain about standing at football games and those that complain about traffic after they leave a game early in the third quarter. Stay home or don’t leave the tailgate, and please give your ticket to someone that enjoys football.

I stand for my right to stand.
The Reville published an article comparing the two : tenders , toast, sauce , and slaw

I don’t remember who won the reville war.

I do remember that Baileys toast was superior( Texas toast) , the chicken was seasoned , and the boxes were always overflowing.
Hi Will, thanks for posting.

Good way to get clicks on your music.
did this happen in St Charles Parish in the early 90s?

Did you see LSU play at Vanderbilt in 2019??

The stadium was a mass of purple and gold with a very small section of Vandy fans.

Our band was on the field prior to the game for the usual pregame routine. It was a home away from home game.

Our fanbases ineptness is overstated with the whiners on this site.

I have a friend who is still somewhere in Nashville waiting on an Uber driver to arrive.
Or they could add a few 100,000 acres of rice fields, rebuild marsh , and ban mud motors ” which I own “ from areas that hold ducks
Make duck hunting great again.

I’d find a crowd of 5 year old kids and take them on.

When done, I’d find a larger crowd of 8 year olds and show them who’s boss.
