re: Mickey Joseph to Nebraska?

So we assumed Tommy Robinson was moving on. How does the remainder of the staff shake out, assuming Joseph to Nebraska happens? I cant see Robinson and Wilson both on staff unless Frank is just a RC and I do not think that happens. Who do we add and where? I'd like to add a young QB coach to develop into future Brady replacement or next OC?

re: This board is toxic

I agree with you that people make fools of themselves over these kids, but I would not make it into something it’s not. Our fans or no different from all fans. It's them or us, on our side or against us, good guy vs bad guy attitude. Logic, reason and decency are no longer sexy. You can see racism, I see stupidity, lack of respect and self-control. No so different from today’s politicians. Little big men losing their composure across a safe keyboard because no one is looking. It’s so easy just to log off when you embarrass yourself. Not every rude, obnoxious, self-centered, overbearing, narcissistic, whining bastard are racist. The majority are just arse holes. They are no fun, avoid them and you’ll be fine.
FYI- If you think LSU fans are better or worse than the rest of college football, just take a trip across the message boards, the idiots outnumber us 5-1.

If he is as fast and big as reported, why does he have to switch to offensive lineman, why can't he be a linebacker.

I also watched his Sr. season and I think he can play MLB in the 3/4 if he keeps his weight down. When you look at his frame, he is far from finished growing. When his upper half catches up with his lower half I believe he will be around 290-300 as well. That's just too thick for a MLB unless your Levon Kirkland. I like him as a 5 tech prospect. I encourage LSU fans to watch his Hudl, this cat can cover some ground. I pulling for the kid.
IMO Stingly & Emory, only time will tell.

He was my OL coach 30 years ago. He was a great coach and a great man, good to see he is still in the game.

re: Lance Guidry Out At McNeese

Easy yourself, I said nothing bad about Lark. I stated I wanted to go outside the McNeese Family. The reason I mentioned him name is because I felt he was the most qualified on staff. Lets face it, they don't have the to realistically do a real coaching search. What I want isn't happening. I think Kerry would be a better recruiter but Lark would be the most qualified.

McNeese has a habit of bringing in people who are connected to the program. This has not worked out well except for Matt Viator. I wish they would bring in an outsider like we did when we brought in Bobby Keasler. At the end of the day I have little faith we put any effort into a search. We will probably end up promoting Lark Hebert.
I thought the OT from Welsh dominated him. I did not see anything that impressed me other than his size. He played lazy, playing both ways is rough at his size.

re: Wow Kary Vincent

My son attended the tiger HS football camp this summer. LSU had quite a few players working the camp and I was able to see Vincent close up. The thing that stuck out to me is he's a little man. There is no way he's 5'10", He has a very slight build, I would guess 5'8" 160 and that may be generous.
He is very fast and ran physical for a back under 200lbs. His Hudl says 4.45. I can tell you he is the best athlete I saw in 3A this season.

2019 RB/QB Dajon Richard - Patterson LA

Posted by Eshebert on 11/25/17 at 2:34 pm
Anyone get to see Dajon Richard from Patterson play? I haven't seen his name mentioned on any recruiting website. I watched him play in the first round of the playoffs and the kid is eclectic. We faced Travis Etienne for 3 years at Jennings and by comparison this kid is faster. No idea about his grades but someone will notice this kid.
