If I read it right, 6’3”, 240 with 4.6 speed. His film also looks very good. How does this kid not have more offers??

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he doesn't actually run a 4.6.
May not be 6'3 or 240 either.
if he is really 6'1 220 and rums a 4.8 he isn't as good of a prospect.
This all guess work on my part, he could very well be all of 6'3 240 and run a 4.6 for all I know.

I’m glad to see LSU taking a flyer on some of these in the weeds prospects. Why not

I don't get it. This kid looks like he can play. Why isn't he getting offers?

Kid is 6’3” and may be closer to 250-260. I know he has posted times between 4.6 and 4.8 at camps. I covered Iota this season so I saw him play myself. He is a playmaker 160+ tackles. The thing is he missed some football as Soph and Jr seasons with Injury. Was converted from DE to MLB during his senior season, basically learned in the job this year. He has a ton of upside. He needs to learn to play with his hands. He excels in space, look at the film, it don’t lie. There was a good article about him in Louisiana Gridiron Football.

His dad was an OL. Can he fill out to be an OL?

I do believe he makes the transition to OL or DE. I think he has the body type to be a very athletic 300 lb man in the near future.

So is the plan to eventually offer him as scholarship?

Iota representing!
I’ll be pulling for this kid.

The walk ons aren't final until they report when classes start in the fall.
A lot of times, when LSU offers a PWO, some smaller school will come in and offer him a scholarship, than he has a decision to make.

Who knows, it’s a PWO, no loose situation for LSU. I watched him play every game of his Sr season, he is a project with major upside potential and great DNA. I wanted to give my honest opinion. He is big, fast, mean and free, what’s not to like?

Trey his dad played at LSU and Redskins. Grandpa Willis played at LSU, I think NFL as well.
