O’Cyrus Torrence Soph yr

O’Cyrus Torrence Jr yr

Against Ferriday and Dare Rosenthal

I’ve seen the kid play. He is a mountain of a man.

247 Louisiana sleepers watch list 2018 season

- O'Cyrus Torrence, OL/DL, Greensburg (La.) St. Helena Central: the first thing you notice about Torrence is his size. At 6-foot-5, 330 pounds, he is a mountain on the line of scrimmage. Torrence has played both sides of the ball and could possibly go either way in college as a big right tackle or guard, or nose tackle on the defensive side. The three-star prospect has reported five FBS offers from Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee State, South Alabama, Southern Miss, and ULL and is No. 67 overall in Louisiana per 247Sports.

67th overall in Louisiana where his best offers to date are La Tech and USM?

Hopefully not.

He's been on the radar a while. Back burner type guy. We miss on several and he blows up his senior year, and maybe. Lot of IFs involved though.

I recently met a former player from that school. He said they recently retired his number. He was a nose guard at South Carolina and played under two Hall of Fame coaches, Lou Holtz and Steve Spurrier. Talked about pass rushing Tebow, Matt Stafford, Brady Croyle, among others. He had a short stint with the Chiefs but injuries curtailed his pro career.

Unless he blows up, go to Tech. He'd be very good there imo.

I thought the OT from Welsh dominated him. I did not see anything that impressed me other than his size. He played lazy, playing both ways is rough at his size.

I remember that guy. Was a big dude. Can't recall his name at the moment. If I'm not mistaken he came out right before SC joined the SEC.
