re: With Landry’s comments on placing restrictions on how the new coach will get paid

Look what happened to the Board of Commissioners of Waterways when they opposed the Hyundai steel plant. Landry replaced them and the plant is moving forward. He will absolutely make this happen the way he wants.
re: this LSU team will beat alabama

That is pre-2019 thinking. In post Joseph era we can have swag and call our wins prior to the game.
Yeah I parked in the lsu bus free parking lot and walked past those huge lots off Nicholson. About 1pm, only 1/5 of the spots were used with a few tailgates.
Let's say I want to tailgate ok campus without a parking pass these days? It takes an act of god to do. I need to haul tailgate supplies 2 miles or start working on the setup on Friday. Fine when I was 30, now I'm 40 with a family and I cannot do that.

re: OSU fans had the same arrogance and confidence

How is he saying OSU was arrogant? They were underdog's, Clemson was the favorite. In fact I bet money on Clemson in that game to cover and felt like shite the first half while OSU stomped the shite out of them. I felt lucky as hell to have Clemson actually come back and barely cover.
Meanwhile I've been cashing my LSU covers at halftime the past month.

I mean what would be weird is if LSU didn't have basically a home game at the Dome for the NC. Then you could say something about LSU fans.
If we lose to bama every year 29-21 it's fine. It's about not even being competitive and being embarrassed. Tiger Stadium at night is special to us and it's not a place where you let somebody come in and blank you in front of the biggest audience of the entire season. That loss was worth several in the L column.
re: If LSU plays as good as it did vs UGA, is that enough to beat Bama

I'm confused by some of the talk about getting TD's vs FG's. We put 36 on GA... convert some of those FG to TD's and we are scoring 45+ points? Do we think we are going to hang 45+ on Saban? That doesn't seem realistic. If we can put 36 on Bama through any means available I'd be impressed.
I sat up there to try it out. I felt like for $45 it was a good experience. Food was ok. Agree that I was surprised when I had to buy a bottle of water for $4. I figured drinks would be complimentary like in the other club sections. I enjoyed being able to buy beers for normal stadium prices during the game ($8).
Bathrooms were clean and new. The whole area was pretty empty. That brought the drawback of people letting their kids run full speed through the bleachers. The kids in front of me got up and down about 75 times before halftime. One kid above me was spitting ice over the rail on the people below and his father said nothing. Maybe was just the people around me but I see most kids under much more control in other parts of the stadium.
You have the same problem as the other upper decks in that you are out of touch with the game. It's not loud and half the people dont clap or cheer. Visibility is same as the uppers. You can't see the handoffs very well so can't tell who the runner is. But you do get to see the plays develop well.
That section is VERY weather dependent as well. It's like a flat top of a roof. Any wind, cold, sun, etc is going to be rough. At least the W and E uppers you are only going to get weather from one side.
For $90-$120 they want for the SEC games. Hell no.
