Houston Astros tickets (4/2/2022)

Posted by Gillbeaux87 on 12/14/21 at 8:40 am
I'm trying to get tickets for our kids Christmas gift for the Astros v Phillies game in April. I've never bought tickets online through Vivid Seats, Seat Geek, etc... I didn't realize how steep the dang fees are!

The tickets aren't on sale through the Astros box office yet, and I was wanting to secure them come Christmas. What's the best route? The tickets with fees are $200 a pop. Is that about what to expect? Any advice would be much appreciated! :usa:

Shopping for remodel...

Floors, tile, and counter tops are picked out.

Just looking for some suggestions on best places in B.R. area to shop for doors/trim, fixtures, hardware?
I’m also going to be wrapping existing metal posts with wood, as well as the ridge beam where the ceiling is vaulted. Any suggestions on a good looking wood to do this, and where to find it?

Yeah, we will have to bust up slab. After looking around a little more I’m starting to think it’s not an outrageous price. shite just be expansive.

Plumbing for remodel

Basically doing a full remodel on a older home and I was quoted $7500 for the plumbing work which includes rerouting drain lines and water lines for sink, shower, tub, toilet, in master bath and tying in new 4” drain line to septic tank (30’ or so)

That’s labor and material. Seems kind of high to me, just wondering the boards thoughts on the price?
Roxie, MS and LBL Tenn side. Anybody ever chase turkeys in the LBL quota hunt?
yea, im gunna end up stripping it down to the studs to see what ive got going on behind it.

Ill be taking out the carpets too so I was thinking I could just let it fall and roll it up with that. Guy at work seems to think I should leave the wood paneling up and sheet rock over the paneling. Anyone ever do it this way?
House is in Walker. Trying to decide best way to get the popcorn ceiling tested for asbestos. Removal seems like a pretty simple process if I don't have to worry about it
...and no we aren't going to live in it while we renovate. Seems like a giant PITA, esp with a little one who is already nosy and about to start crawling.
Thanks. There is mostly wood paneling through out. I plan on getting the dumpster delivered this week and start some demo this weekend.
The wife and I bought her grandparents house they built in the late 60's, and we are finally getting to the point of interior demo to remodel. I'm new to this and was hoping for any advice or contractor recs I can get a hold of, it would be much appreciated.

General Physician rec

I turned 31 yesterday and haven't seen a Dr. prob since my physical in high school. I'm looking for any recommendations for a general physician that's in the BR area so I can get a physical and some blood work done to see where I'm at, and can steer me in the right direction on the latest and greatest.

Any fans of their Pennied Days album?
I ran across it on Spotify and have listened to it in its entirety many times. Go to on summer evenings grillin and drinkin.
I have about 4 gallons of permethrin and a entire automatic misting system I'm looking to get rid of if anyone is interested

Appreciate the feedback. Was really looking at the mobile homes, not the travel trailers. It seems like it'll be hard to find one in decent shape though

Anyone have any experience buying fema trailers from auction? I will be remodeling a house and am considering buying one to put on the property until the job is done. Maybe bring to the hunting camp afterwards.
