Just saw that Prof. Ambrosio is giving an additional 25 points extra credit to fill out a very simple questionaire(5 questions) regarding your thoughts on the class.

If you don't think this forum should be for posing questions or venting frustrations about the program, please leave. Why is it not appropriate to pose questions and raise concerns about the LSUS MBA program on the LSUS MBA program forum?

I thought this forum was a place to discuss courses, strategy, professors, and MBA subject matter NOT admission requirements, making discriminatory statements or illuminating perceived flaws in other students. I think think jwilliams339 was correct in stating that if you have a problem with the "low" admission" standards here, take it up with LSUS Admissions. By posting your critiques here you are offending many students, who are just trying to learn and better themselves. Additionally, its not only unfair but its also discriminatory to state that most grammatical errors come from students from two local historically black schools. The person who posted that proceeded to say that he knows this because of group members he's been paired up with, were from those schools, and they had poor communication skills. So based on few students, he felt as if he could generalize and stereotype an entire demographic/race. If you don't have a problem with that then you should leave this group. Can't we just try to keep criticism of other students and races out of this forum? Theres no need for that, especially with all the experience and talented indivduals in here.

Hey Socal, i'm not making fun of anyone, I just think its hilarious that an admitted C student is discussing who should be eligible to get into this program or not. And FYI, you do realize that Southern and Grambling are historically black Colleges, right? Why specifically name those Universities? Show me the evidence that these African American students used their GPA's to get a waiver on the GMAT. I may not post much but when I see garbage and hate being spewed, I'm going to speak up.

I find it beyond funny how a guy who admittedly got multiple C's in this program is talking about who should be eligible to get into the program or not!

Does Dr. James not realize that we are not full-time students(at least the majority of us arent)? Furthermore, does she not respect our weekends or is she counting it as school day? For the amount of work that is needed, a good chunk of the weekend will be taken up. I don't mind using my weekends to study but to give an assignment where you must work on the weekends, that disrespectful if you ask me.
