Missing mom from Lafayette
Posted by Pippi on 6/6/23 at 12:36 pm
I haven't posted on here in years but sharing in case the OT can help to locate this Lafayette mother of 3. LINK
Whitney Granier Lazarus, a single mother of three children, is missing and we are deeply concerned for her well-being. She is currently experiencing a mental health crisis, and we need your assistance in locating her.
Our last contact with Whitney as a family was on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, when she spoke with her children over the phone just after 8 PM. Since then, there has been no sign of her. We are reaching out to the community for support in bringing her home safely.
Whitney drives a white 2017 Infinity QX80 with license plate 727 ENN. Her vehicle is distinguishable by a pink lei and an angel hanging from the rear-view mirror. Disturbingly, she left home without any additional clothing or her electronic devices, including her cell phone. This leaves her unable to reach out to anyone for help.
Adding to our worries, Whitney did not show up for a scheduled pick-up of her children on Monday, June 5th. This is highly unusual, as she has never missed a pick-up before. We reported her missing to the Lafayette Police Department on the afternoon of Sunday, June 4th. Our efforts include reaching out to local hospitals, contacting her friends, co-workers, and medical provider.
Tragically, Infinity cannot track her vehicle due to it being a 2017 model. The MyInfinity App only supports vehicles from 2018 onwards, adding to the complexity of the search. This is why we are urging everyone, friends and family alike, to join us in our mission to find Whitney and ensure she receives the critical medical attention she needs.
Whitney is likely scared and confused, with no means of contacting anyone. She may be wearing gray leggings, a camouflage hoodie, and black Sperry-type rain boots. Standing at approximately 5'6" and weighing around 160 lbs, she has blonde hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo of a lily flower with the name "Lily Beth" on the inside of her left forearm.
Please, if you have any information regarding Whitney's whereabouts or have seen her vehicle, contact the authorities immediately. Your help can make all the difference in reuniting Whitney with her worried family and ensuring she gets the help she urgently needs. Together, we can bring her home safe and sound. #FindWhitneyLazarus

Sony TV apps buffering since updated in March
Posted by Pippi on 6/26/17 at 3:36 pm
Reached out in the OT for suggestions on Cox vs Eatel service after we have been having a few issues with buffering over the last few weeks. A poster mentioned that it might not be the internet but the latest update for the TV. I think the latest updates were in March but we have only noticed issues with buffering in the past few weeks. It started in the Amazon App but then moved to the ESPN app, Disney junior app etc. Any pointers on how to "fix" the buffering issues?
We called Cox Customer service but all they said was that our internet feed was great and unrelated to the issue and that they couldn't assist in further with the buffering issues.
Both TVs are Sony but one pulls in wirelessly and the other is hard lined into the router.

That is helpful! We have two smart TVs that have been having the issues but figured it was the internet since one is hard wired but the other streams wirelessly. Both are sony TVs so they get updates at the same time.

we only have internet. All we do is stream which is why we pay for the top package... we haven't had any consistent issues until about 3 weeks ago. Now it seems like anytime we stream anything there is some type of buffering that occurs. When you call customer service they have you go to a website to test your download and upload speed and then brag that you are getting better numbers then what you are paying for.
Asked the customer service rep "if the numbers are so good then why do we keep having buffering issues?" To which his response we something to the effect of "I don't know but it isn't your internet" :spank:

With Eatel now offering internet services in EBR... has anyone ever switched from Cox to Eatel? Paying top dollar for cox internet but having some issues with buffering lately (kept happening during LSU games  )

Did you see this as a "read more" suggestion on the left "Eel! Man nearly dies after inserting live fish in bottom to treat constipation"
Dear Lord, why?

I thought this was all ridiculous until I saw the video... I get it a little more now.
Girl is off her rocker if she thought there wasn't anything 'off' about the staging of that.

A woman was handcuffed and another woman was escorted out of Arlington High School’s graduation, after a fight broke out Tuesday night.
Graduation attendees captured the fight on video, as students made their way into the sanctuary at Bellevue Baptist Church, in Cordova, for their graduation. The ceremony was held around 7 p.m.
The video shows two women throwing punches at multiple people. A woman in a brown dress hits a man, and then shoves a young woman. Eventually, one of the women begins pulling another woman’s hair.
People on social media said the fight started over a request to switch seats.

Chris Soules, who rose to fame as a star on the reality television series “The Bachelor,” was arrested by the authorities in Iowa after they said he fled the scene of a crash that killed at least one person.
Fled the scene... maybe he can get a new show to find a mate in prison...
