socal, I don't recall Shaughnessy requiring the online component. I actually used an international textbook that I picked up for like 10 bucks. It was identical.

lsusports was pretty accurate. Ambrosio is an adjunct who is operating out of the West Coast. His ACCT701 class for Spring Session 1 (2017) involved Text Reading, Homework and Exams.

Each week you cover 2 chapters. Each chapter has 4-5 assignments, and each assignment has 1-5 questions. Its either multiple choice or fill in the blank. Fill in the blank is usually math related, but its elementary math. You also get 3 "check your work" attempts. If you can't get an answer right with 3 tries and then a submit.... its not the course. On the off chance that you do get a question wrong twice, just wait 2 days and someone will ask the same question as you, and someone else will answer it, likely Prof. Ambrosio. He actually told people to stop overthinking things and just gave people the answer.

For the exams, its 35 multiple choice (1 attempt) and we started with 50 minutes per exam, but people complained and he bumped it to 75 minutes. Frankly, 50 minutes was plenty, but the extra time didn't hurt. There is virtually NO MATH on the exams.

The only chapter homework that deviated from this was the last, it was LONG, but SUPER EASY.

Prof. Ambrosio answered questions nearly 24 hrs a day, but honestly, the most common question was whether people should use 1 or 2 decimal points in answers. That was literally 75% of the questions asked.

Hope this helps.

I am just finishing ACCT701 with Ambrosio now. It's the easiest class I have ever taken, including undergrad. If I had known how easy it was going to be, and what little time it required, I would have paired it.
