How many assistants, technical advisors and performance managers are there on JJ's staff?

When watching LSU play there is no indication any of these guys do anything at all. There are no plays, no defensive schemes, players seem to not change at all in body type, fitness is suspect, skills seem to deteriorate throughout the season, rotations don't seem considered, time outs are poorly used and motivation appears zero.

All above I would have thought are the domain of responsibility of the head coach. Many of these tasks would be delegated but at LSU they don't appear to be happening at all.

When JJ finally does get the axe and they pay him out at least then fire the rest of the support staff (whom I doubt would be on multi-year guaranteed contracts) to save some dough because they've had a free ride under JJ.

Seriously, JJ's idea of offence was 5 out and let the player's go 1 on 1. Maybe if the Tigers had a coach that had a clue about basketball then maybe Simmons' skill set could have been utilised better to make the team even better. Running plays to get the ball into the right spots to attack the defence. frick me, I can't remember any screens being set off the ball ever in the last three seasons. Simmons did his best to drag this sorry arse team up the standings despite the coach. However, you could literally see his frustration grow at the coach and TQ til the point he must have said 'frick you, do it yourself and see if I give a shite'.

I can't recall which game it was but remember he got 2 quick fouls early and JJ left him on the bench for the remainder of the half - almost as if he's completely forgotten that he had the best player in all of college sitting on his bench while the team fell apart on the court in front of him

With respect to JJ's 'Australian pipeline', I'm sorry to inform you that the pipeline goes directly to St Mary's and after the Simmons disaster no talented Aussie will ever consider the LSU men's program again.

Coach JJ would definitely be in the running for 'worst college coach in America'. I recall the defence last year was that he is good when he has to do more with less and didn't really know what to do with Ben Simmons. Well this year he has a lesser squad with no big names and his game plan (if it exists) has pooped the bed.

Coach JJ reminds me of Coach Klein
