Dish Network has it on channel 158
I am definitely driving up for the series...I grew up in southern Indiana so I'm meeting a bunch of friends and family that are coming in to watch my son play

Romero played first base his Junior year at Catholic High and played position pretty well...just sayin
Our first base coach got suspended for 2 games earlier this season for arguing a call at first base that needed the game

Way to go, Tigers!!

re: The case for Coomes at catcher

Today is Nick's 21st birthday...I hope he gets the start tonight
Morbid, I don't think anyone knows the answer to that question until he actually does catch a full series! Right now he's a little sore after he catches a full game but they are working on him every day to stretch him out. Trust me, he wants to play every game, and he will deal with the pain until bone spur can be shaved down during the summer.
I'm just glad I could set the record straight...hoping that he will start today!
The Advocate article is accurate...he is doing much better now and is in very little pain thanks to the training and medical staff. He is able and wants to play every game that he can!
Nick has a small bone spur on his hip that was discovered after he caught the Baylor game...they rested him for a week and are now treating him with meds, exercise and stretching...he's doing fine and able to catch whenever needed
Nick now batting .353 with a 6 game hitting streak. He is starting to get comfortable at catcher position

Coomes is catching tonight

He's feeling much better after resting his hip last week.
Coomes is not playing this week due to a hip injury...nothing serious but they are resting him this week
You hit the nail on the head...Romero's shoulder is all torn up, and needs surgery! He opted against surgery to be a part of this years team instead of redshirting

Thanks Ell_13 I actually learned something today...I always thought it was considered an error if runner advanced a base!
starting tonight if game doesn't get rained out
Under their player profiles its says Coomes was a gold glove catcher at Catholic High BR, and he shared catching duties at LSU Eunice. His high school coach described him as a very athletic catcher with a strong arm! Pap is an amazing catcher and he's fun to watch behind the plate! Hopefully Coomes can learn from Pap!
