Keep accepting a mediocre qb an you will keep predicting up and down seasons

Canada

Canada is the entire problem to this skism lol. The offensive line is confused. It seems every play they they are getting pushed backwards first. Since the two touchdowns were called back in the MSU game this team hasn't been the same offensively.
Good coaching can be the difference from an average player turning into to an excellent player. It's basic evolution, good players evolve on good coaching.

Bad players are bad players, they don't play football after high school typically.

Good players go bad because of bad coaching and lack of self discipline. In football good coaching can fix that.

Alabama has outstanding coaching, LSU has above average-Excellent coaching as of now.

Regardless we need to sit Etling next loss, he isn't the future. He didn't develope as he could have, most likely he didn't have great coaching. He has the want for sure. He also thinks Syracuse looked like a good win. That's unexplainable in my opinion.

Clemson instead of Mizzou

Was Clemson looked at during the SEC expansion? They would have been a great add. In my opinion a better choice than Mizzou from a football aspect.

re: Strength and conditioning?

I agree to some of the replies, but their push on the line was far more greater than LSU. I understand better technique, better advise, better preparation of your opponents. To add to them being stronger and faster overall its a deadly combination.

yeah man, K. Faulk for sure, and Reed most likely. I'm going to have to edit

Strength and conditioning?

Posted by BigD56 on 11/13/16 at 4:34 pm
Is the edge that Bama have more than just Saban alone? I watched a few takes on Scott Cochran and he is intense. How much do you think that makes a difference when it comes to Bama line just being flat out stronger than LSU o-line?

yea you are prob right who do I remove based on college career only?

very difficult decisions because I had quite a few I could flip flop around most likely and prob would after looking at stats.

re: If we win out

I think it would be perfect. You had LSU playing with them in Green Bay, and then here in New Orleans. Now I know last year was in Houston so it doesn't really give the Badgers equal distances as far as a three game series goes but regardless it would be LSU 2, badgers 1.

Winning out

Posted by BigD56 on 11/13/16 at 3:38 pm
I think with some key teams losing as the seasons end LSU can sneak into the top 10 by close of the season. Anyone else think that is attainable? Looking at the schedule ahead for some teams it could be a pretty good possibility.
"Let it go, its over."

This doesn't get problems corrected. Instead enables the sec from doing what's right and addressing the issue at hand. Refs need to be accountable regardless as they are part of game decisions and outcomes. That's why it shouldn't be "just let go"

Make LSU GREAT AGAIN!

Jimbo Fisher paired with Aranda with Ogeron as the recruiting coordinator/d line this could be a stellar trio

cheating is one thing, and getting beat on a play is another. Grow up man

Perrilloux effect

Posted by BigD56 on 11/6/16 at 10:48 pm
This qb debacle started with Ryan Perriloux getting arrested. There isn't an excuse for not getting talent/developing talent since however this still played a huge part in the downfall of LSU qb situation.

Clock mismanagement, missed reads, turnovers regardless if they set up an Auburn score or not, and penalties are the reason for losing.

All those things fall on coaching minus the fumbles.

Discipline, preparation, and coaching. It lacked and has lacked.
"In LSU history, for sure.

Dupre is not a 1st or 2nd round talent. Sorry."

This statement is false. Dupre will go late first to early second round and drop no further pending and injury.

Book it and save this post. If he isn't I will personally apologize and admit I was wrong.

For those that think we are spoiled

Posted by BigD56 on 9/25/16 at 2:34 pm
Being spoiled in my opinion is not anything to do with a football coach payed to do a job. A job to contend year in and year out which I am sure was spelled out to him when he signed with LSU. Miles isn't being generous to LSU, he isn't treating fans with any kindness by winning games. It's his job. It's just like many coaches, their Jobs are to contend for National Titles and you all know the schools that put that on top of their list. Besides getting men ready for the NFL or other future careers the only goal for top tier SEC schools is to win the SEC and a National Championship. So saying we are spoiled because fans are unhappy is a mediocre approach and a conservative approach just as Miles has established the last few years. If you are content with LSU losing 3 to 5 games year then you probably aren't the same fan as the fan who wants a National title or at least be in contention at the end of the season. You are either okay with losing, or are just happy with any post season bowls. This is not and should not be accepted this many years in a row. Most of us could understand a year with 2 maybe three losses max, as player turn over happens, but to be consistent with that as LSU has done is a pattern of terrible coaching at the SEC level.

If LSU loses next week Miles will be fired by next Sunday if he isn't tomorrow.
