Is the edge that Bama have more than just Saban alone? I watched a few takes on Scott Cochran and he is intense. How much do you think that makes a difference when it comes to Bama line just being flat out stronger than LSU o-line?

The thing that amazes me about Bama is they never have a lot of injuries...ever.

Alabama's advantage comes from their front 7 on defense. These guys are freaks and had NFL type size and talent in high school. Don't think their strength and condition program makes much of a difference with that front 7

Was anyone else disappointed that Guice only pulled away by 10 yards and not 25 yards after the 96 yard run? Also, it looked like he was breathing a little hard after the run. [sarcasm, good gracious]

They have loads of talent all over the field, but their strength and conditioning being elite definitely makes a difference. Anyone that tells you otherwise is a fool.

6 number 1 recruiting classes in a row is why they are beating people. There is no big secret. They out talent people and are well coached.

I don't think their guys put up any noticeably better numbers at the combines than ours (I haven't researched this so if someone feels compelled to do so, have at it). They're just very good players.

The issue is not strength and conditioning. It's running an O that plays to their strengths without the necessary counter-strengths, i.e., a mature passing game.

I doubt OM is questioning their OL's S&C as compared to Bama.

And they are exceptionally well coached. Never many busts, tackle well, finish blocks

I agree to some of the replies, but their push on the line was far more greater than LSU. I understand better technique, better advise, better preparation of your opponents. To add to them being stronger and faster overall its a deadly combination.

They are made to ply through the injuries like the NFL. That's why alot of gumps don't do so well. They're already beat up.
