re: It's time to take a moment to realize just how amazing Jayden Daniels was at LSU

Nuss is just missing something. Players tend to make the coach, not the other way around. If he was great as his hype, he should be making more things happen. He's a 5th year senior. I have seen QBs with far less talent around them be more consistent.

I wonder if Nuss audibled? That whole thing looked weird. Kelly is still garbage regardless.
He has no mechanics. His footwork is high school like and his arm isn't strong enough to compensate.
Nuss just has no athleticism. You're playing 10 on 11 on offense. His football IQ isn't high enough to play that way. Play calling and lack of a running game isn't helping, but it gets even harder to run when you don't have to account for the quarterback.
LSU desperately needs a starting caliber QB. Nuss is not athletic, can't read defenses, and too slow to process what he's seeing. He's inconsistent and inaccurate. When he's forced to run, his eyes goes down and he misses wide open receivers. Now to top things off, he's absolutely scared out of his mind and won't stand in the pocket even when it's clean. IMO, you can't really evaluate Kelly with him having a such a sub-par starting QB.
I recall that a lot of LSU fans were critical of him and constantly asking for Nuss. No one will probably admit that now though.
Miles is too indecisive for my tastes. This offense is built on timing. You make the read and let it rip. He has a hitch in his delivery. He throws late. It's pretty obvious when you look at the film objectively. I don't think he's a bad QB by any means, but he is what he is.
Finley, while being a pocket passer is a big strong kid who's a threat to actually keep it on the read option. No one is worrying about Myles running the ball. That hurts the run game, especially when you don't use a blacking back. The only stat that counts is wins.
