Teams are required to wear uniforms in game. A uniform is defined as not varying or changing : staying the same at all times, in all places, or for all parts or members
Nike paid the NFL over a billion dollars to provide the players uniforms and outfit. coaches on game days. Lynch doesn't and shouldn't have a choice in the matter as that money is filtered to him and the rest of the players according the the CBA. He is an employee of the league, no different than anyone else and should act accordingly.

BRPD and all law enforcement don't care about getting marijuana off the streets with these "busts". Their only goal is to get as much money and property as they can get through asset forfeiture laws. In this case they made an easy $12,000 in cash. If the guy had been driving they would have taken his car as well.
Do you see them going after meth labs with the same vigor as marijuana busts? Of course not, there's not enough of an incentive ($$$) in meth lab raids as marijuana. Not to mention that it's far safer going after marijuana dealers and users than it is meth heads. It's all about the money. It's one reason why law enforcement doesn't want marijuana legalized....
Force law enforcement to donate all money and property seized through asset forfeiture laws to charity and see how quickly these type of busts go away.
Bingo. This guy knows. All about the money for the PD. they don't give a damn about safety.
According to comment from Nola article, he also has time to run his own full service catering business. He apparently spends his other 11 hours a day there. Located out of the fraternal order of police reception hall.

Yeah. I think he would let him do some stuff but in the end he would get real frustrated with him changing every play called. Fox doesn't care and let's him do anything he wants. I think that was the a big motivator for him

You know Harbaugh wouldn't have given him free reign of the O like Fox does. Manning thrives off having that.
Yep. Niners D is nasty just weak at 3rd corner on. Olsen burned Cox on that big play. Niners picked him back up before the Packers game last week. Brown and Brock will play better in the 2nd half.
Just out of curiosity. For the guys that say it's paying for friends.
If you go to a school where you don't know a lot of people, how do you go about making friends with random guys? Do you just go to the bar and talk to other guys to try to feel out their interests? That doesn't sound very appealing to me.

A Big East source from a football-playing school told ESPN on Sunday, "The basketball schools are not thrilled with Tulane" and "would have fallen off the ledge if we would have added East Carolina as a full member." Williams acknowledged he was "not pleased" specifically about adding Tulane. "I was not pleased that we issued an invitation to Tulane without any diligence to what effect that would have on our basketball product, the draw on our RPI and other such things," Williams told 540 ESPN Milwaukee. "I was disappointed that I wasn't able to participate as a member of the conference in the deliberation that went into adding that."
They must not have had a say. The Marquette AD is not happy with Tulane joining
10yrd penalty if called anyway. 49ers still likely make fg
I see that now. First time I had been to it. After playing around though I see it is damn thorough about anything before last season...got a kick out of the Gatorade players of the year list. Lotta names I haven't heard in a while

Here is a good link for all the state championship info for each class. Including who has won most in each.

I don't think that scenario really matches yours considering the niners were the most or one of the most popular teams in the NFL up until it seems you were about 15 or so. In that scenario the saints never win again while the niners have won a few titles since you started liking them. Ill give you props for sticking with them, but the fact remains you jumped on the bandwagon earlier. I find that amusing considering you and others accuse some saints fans of only liking the saints since they have been good when you and the others started liking the niners for the same reason.
How so? Ok, Give the Saints a couple of SB wins and now answer the question. The popularity part is not relevant because my reasons were based on a sole influence at a much younger age not popular opinion of football teams. As for the bandwagon stuff for Saints fans, there are definitely many but I never said y'all all where. Everyone kept posting about the loyalty and dedication so posted the sellout info. I say that there werent many fans outside of Nola because I witnessed the change in support that happened while living between N and S La the past 7 years so. Also never said I like the Niners because they were good back then, that is what you assume. I became a fan because family influence. At that age and knowledge of professional football, I can't imagine
quote:But... but....
I just can't fathom someone from la liking another team unless they have some sort of reason like they have lived in another place etc. I don't consider Joe Montana being catholic a reason for liking the niners.
quote:
If you were a fan of the rams or browns or chargers or whoever I wouldn't say anything. And actually I wouldn't say anything if you were a cowboys fan. I realize several people in NW la are cowboys fans for geographic reasons.
You need to stop making contradicting statements or just let it go. As to Joe him being an Italian catholic that went to ND gave him a respect you wouldn't believe from older catholic Italian football fans. Hard to explain but old school Italians loved them some ND. I dont know if my grandfather liked them before they drafted Montana in I believe 79 but know he did after. People like things for their own reasons, whether you consider those reasons to be valid or not. A family influence led me to the Niners nothing more or less, if I was to bandwagon I would have jumped on yalls or the Boys when they were dominating the early 90's. It's whatever though, I will be on this 49er "bandwagon" for the rest of my days I can assure you

You won't say anything but it makes you laugh apparently because you said:

I just find it laughable that any Louisianian will be an lsu fan but not a saints one.
So not real sure what exactly you realize.
quote:
So you liked them during their prime. You or most other niners fans on here have no business calling any saint bandwagon fans. And you can be a fan of who you want. I realize you don't have to be a saints fan if you live in la, but the fact that you started liking the niners during their heyday and you call out saints fans for being bandwagon makes me laug
Well actually I began liking the 49ers when I began to become interested in the NFL when I was very young. Now if I was a bandwagon fan, as you insinuate, wouldn't I have left them to cheer for the multiple other Super Bowl winners over the last 25 years. Especially during the 95-2010 stretch where we were pretty much horrible minus a few good teams sprinkled in. I think I had plenty of opportunity over the last 25 years to jump on one.
For arguments sake, let's say a a child between ages 6-9 lives in Arizona in the year 2010. His father is a huge Saints fan and has been for a long time for whatever reason. The child happens to begin taking an interest in the NFL that season and cheers for the Saints along with his father. The saints win a super bowl that year . Fast forward 30 years, the saints have had up nd down years since but no championships. The now man still resides in Ari. but is still an extremely loyal Saints fan, never wavering in his commitment to the team. Is that man a bandwagon fan due the team winning a Super Bowl the year when he became a fan as a child or is he a true fan because he stuck with them the throughout the years no matter how they performed?

Well then you should quote him not me, when you are responding Tigerbait.
Also Fwiw the people that seem most butthurt here are Saints fans. For example Lester Earl calling me a "bandwagon frick". Well Lester to answer your question I have never been to SF but have seen the Niners play 6 times in person. One of those being the 55-10 arse whipping the put on the Broncos in the Dome in a Super Bowl. Now that I am older and have more financial freedom I hopefully will have the opportunity see them many more times in my lifetime.

Uh. Never once did I claim that the 49ers had great fans or great fan support or sold out their stadium for that matter. All the Saints fans kept talking about the wave of support that has always been there so I was pointing that they never sold the season tickets for the stadium out until 06. I am not seriously questioning the dedication to the Saints I am merely posting relevant information in reference to this dedication.
As for the banner, They sold the tickets in 06 but I don't know when they put the banner up but since it was before the SB win I guess y'all just needed something to be up there to fill all that empty space. Point being, commemorative banner for season ticket sales is not in same category as winning Super Bowl or having your number retired by the team you played for.

So you started liking the niners 25 years ago. Remind me, what were the niners doing 25 years ago? I just find it laughable that any Louisianian will be an lsu fan but not a saints one. I assure you saints fan were outside of new Orleans before brees. Obviously more fans showed up when we got good, but you seem to know all.about that since you started liking the niners whenever they were winning superbowls.
Actually they were in the heyday of the Montana era. I was about 7 years old and very much enjoyed watching the 49ers with my Grandfather because he was a huge Montana fan due to him being italian catholic. At this impressionable age, my loyalty to the team was born. It was easy to remain a fan of the 49ers because everyone else up there was a Cowboys fan leading to many fun rivalry matchups for my friends and I growing up.
I just find it laughable that you believe that because I was born in La I have to be a Saints fan and to be an LSU fan it is a prerequisite that I cheer for the Saints. That is absolutely idiotic. Let me pose this question: because I was born in in the NW part of the state of La and geographically closer to Dallas. does that mean I have to be Cowboys fan? Or is my citizenship in the state enough to qualify me for required Saints fandom? In LSU's case I went there, so I think I am ok but I was born closer to La Tech so I guess I should like them more to?
quote:
and where were they while wearing the brown bags? I don't want to turn this into a fan pissing match but this statement is just ignorant. Just because the fans had a sense of humor about going to watch the team thru some of those horrific years, doesn't mean they still weren't supporting their team. How much opportunity are you really able to give a team when they are getting blown out by halftime every single week? EVERY fanbase in sports has a waxing/waning of fan support based on success. Of fricking course there is going to be more casual fans following a contender than a team who didn't have a winning season in its first 20 years.
Think it is more to the point that the first time the Saints sold out of season tickets was 06. The team was even so shocked they put a banner up commemorating the event in the Dome next to the retired jerseys and SB banner

Auto correct for Brees from Apple.. Don't think there is any question as to who I was referring to though buddy. Not sure how I misspelled Graham but leaving out the A is hardly what I would call a serious mistake.
Jesus, dude...

I never saw one niner fan on here until last year. And most saints fans I personally know have been for years. Seems to me most of you were niners fans when they were good with young and Montana, you went into hiding after that, and you magically show up when they are good again. The fact that most of you are lsu fans just makes me laugh. I guess lsu was good enough for y'all but since the saints weren't doing too hot you all figured you'd be front runners with the niners.
Pretty simple reason for this. None of y'all began bad mouthing the 49ers until we played last year. This naturally leads to more fans commenting, especially when most of the Saints fans comments are less fact based, more bias commentary. Shouldn't be hard to understand that a lot of Niners fans weren't eager to discuss potential 4 win seasons with Saints fans the previous years. As a 49er fan living in La over the last 25 years including openly sticking with them in rough years, I didn't know Saints fans existed outside of Nola until they had hope w/ Bree's.
In relation to present day:
Saints live and die by Bree's if he is hurt, y'all are done. Easily top 3 in league. Put him with SF and we win last year and are the team to beat for next 3. Smith is weak no doubt.
Sproles numbers are a product of Bree's ability mainly. He is nothing on O without the threat of a great QB because he requires space to create the big play. Even with rivers he wasn't as dangerous. Bree's is exceptional at finding the open man, going through progressions to find that person. Sproles benefitted hugely to sending everyone deep then looking to him on a short route.
Laughable that y'all think Grahm is head and shoulders above Davis talent wise. He is a great te but also more of a product of having a great qb.
Yeah the 9 ers division isn't great but the West winner has knocked the Saints from the playoffs the past two seasons and over since 06 our division has repped NFC twice in SB..
Good luck to the Saints this season but I am sorry to tell y'all that despite our QB situation our future prospects are better than yalls. Realistically with our monster schedule this year we top out at 11 wins.. Though think 10 is most likely. Should be a fun year.
