And if the committee were to give any weight at all to such a game, the precedent would be set for EVERY bubble team EVERY year to add AT LEAST one extra game. There will always be someone who feels that they got snubbed, and the more we expand the playoffs, the smaller the difference is going to be between the last one in and the first one to miss out. The purpose of expanding the playoff was supposed to be insuring that all of the teams who have a real shot are in...that's what I tell myself anyway. Of course, the real purpose is to make ESPN more $$$$.
