Tennessee is reportedly making a change at quarterback ahead of Saturday’s road game against Arkansas.

According to On3’s Pete Nakos and Chris Low, sophomore George MacIntyre is expected to start for the Volunteers against the Razorbacks.

True freshman Faizon Brandon started last week against Auburn but struggled, completing just 3-of-8 passes for zero yards with an interception before being replaced by MacIntyre in the second quarter.

MacIntyre completed 8-of-10 passes for 86 yards as Tennessee went on to beat Auburn 24-14 behind a huge performance from running back DeSean Bishop.

Brandon has also been dealing with a shoulder injury that he suffered during Tennessee’s loss to Texas.

MacIntyre has completed 14-of-20 passes for 148 yards and one touchdown this season and is now in line to make the first start of his Tennessee career.
