If the players don't want to eat it, it is trash. Somebody getting a kickback on the food budget? Wouldn't be the first time

They are used to eating the best of the best. These look like cheap meals, with bad presentation. They do look very healthy though. A protein, 3-4 veggies and a starch, all glopped into styrofoam.

You there to play ball or eat at a fancy restaurant? This isnt normal times. You are not gonna get normal stuff.

I get that. I also know that they are working with an NBA nutritionist, and somebody from the NBA signs off on every meal. Also, it is probably aboot $60 for that meal. The mouse is not cheap.

Love soapbox comments. A guy who makes tons of money, coaching a shitty team, gets to eat like a king, comments on others. That's rich

Hoping for extremely low viewership for these games.

So Martin is feeding his players fifty-cent meals too. I'll bet Martin doesn't eat that cheap slop.

It has nothing to do with what Martin eats. It's about millionaire professional athletes - who are still getting the opportunity to work and earn a shite ton of money - are complaining because their lives are temporarily less luxurious than they're used to. Then they complain about it in the middle of the worst economic downturn in American history. Let's say the NCAA had to run something similar for basketball and all the SEC coahces and players had to stay in a hotel for some weeks. I don't doubt Martin would wish that he could have the food that he used to having, but do you really think he'd tweet out his complaints about it?

NBA players have complained about the food, room size, and a variety of other factors. They're some of the most entitled people on the planet. I normally watch NBA games but their attitude through this whole process is going to keep me from watching games.

One change would have made the tweet perfect. Change "spoiled" to "privileged".

I think people are coming to the realization more and more that nba players are the most out of touch spoiled athletes in the world And it’s not even close

I guess they should all boycott the games and go home! We can only hope the SJW slant they have taken backfires on their privileged lives.

Lebron has already kind of figured this out without saying anything. Basically saying the phrases on the back of the shirts are stupid

The world would be a better place overnight if the NBA, NFL, and social media Ceased to exist.

These are professional athletes- they are used to having access to choice of high-quality foods. If you’re gonna put them in these weird conditions, you can at least present a menu and serve on proper plates

Frank Martin doesn't frick around. Dude was a bouncer in a Miami nightclub in the 80s.

NBA players have lost all touch with the real world. Martin is right.
