On Monday, Paul Finebaum joined McElroy and Cubelic In The Morning and discussed the possibility of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin eventually succeeding his former boss, Alabama head coach Nick Saban...
quote:

"I’m glad you brought that up, because I quit arguing with fans on the subject. I had never seen it, and sometimes maybe you think you know too much. To me, it’s just that there’s a lot of mistrust of Lane Kiffin, in terms of his behavior," Finebaum said. "He behaves like a child. Last week, it was on center stage. There’s no reason for this. I mean, I do not think — two things I will say. Lane Kiffin will not succeed Nick Saban, nor will Lane Kiffin ever beat Nick Saban.

"I think, whenever we get to that day, the people that will make the decision will not bat an eye."

I don't know why people keep talking this. It is NEVER going to happen. If Saban retired today here would be the candidates.
Ryan Day, james Franklin, Mark Stoops, Lincoln Riley

James Franklin? That’s hilarious. Guy can’t even win his division in the big 10 and he’s supposed to succeed the greatest coach of all time?

3 or 4 years ago I would've said it was a lock, but Dabo seems to have fumbled the program at Clemson.
