I don't really care about the argument between you and Ystar but I would like to hear your version of why Ty has regressed so much over the last 4-5 games.

He signed and never turned in the papers. He is now chasing cash.
Being told that Holt is now going to end up at Arizona.
He might not do a whole lot his freshman year but this kid is going to be very special.
I am talking about Ezavier Crowell.

Oats has been a great coach for Alabama. I absolutely love where he has taken Alabama basketball.
But, he did a really poor job constructing this roster. They need athletic bigs that can rebound and they don't have any. Williamson is not SEC material and Onyejiaka was a late addition project.
Losing Dioubate to the portal hurt since he brought so much energy and could rebound but Oats should have focused more on bringing in quality and athletic bigs.
He needs to find another guy like Charles Bediako. Best center we have had for Oats system.

I have no idea if you are troll or just a super negative and unrealistic person. Expecting continued dominance is very unrealistic. Bama lost the best football coach (arguably) in college football history. DeBoer or whoever else was always going to struggle coming in after Saban. Bama lost Caleb Downs and Julian Sayin when Saban left among many others. He was not exactly left with studs all over the board.
The best players on this current team are all from DeBoer's Washington team. Cuevas, Bernard and Brailsford. He has had 1 recruiting class and was way behind the 8 ball on that one. Just got his first real recruiting class for 2026 and finished at number 4. Has some real studs coming in to run his system.
And by the way, he is 19-4 against the top 25 in his career. 7-2 against the top 10. 7-1 against Kirby, Lanning and Sark.
I think he can coach. Give him some time. It might take a couple of more years. If Bama is still losing 3-4 games/year, I will say let's move in. But, for now, give him a break.

Correct, but they also just beat Ohio State and they went to Oregon and beat them soundly. I think they are pretty legit.

He is the next great Bama back. Been a little bit of a drought but he is going to be special.
Are you saying for sure that Bama is getting this guy or are you just posting possible guys from the portal? Like the 2 previous posts with the running back and guard?

It would seem like they are going to have to get at least 1 WR out of the portal since we only signed 1 now after the 2 flips and might not end with with Gash.

I like Ty and really admire that he stuck around and waited his turn. Having said that I don't want to lose Russell because I think his ceiling is as high as any Bama QB in the last 20 years.

As a Bama fan that wants to take down Ohio State this is a huge deal. The guy can coach wide receivers and has been the best recruiter in the nation for many years.
Look at the list of guys he has recruited. Multiple top wide receivers in the NFL right now or soon to be there.

Illinois is confident they are getting Javari Barnett and Owen Cabell.

He was the 7th ranked recruit in the 2024 class. In the right system with the right coaching he can be a stud.
The best Ivisic player is Tomi and he is a game time decision. This is Brad Underwood's most talented team he has had at Illinois. They are deep and they are very good. They currently have the 6th best odds to win it all this year.
This is going to be a very difficult game playing them in Chicago.

Washington wanted a huge bag. Bama is reallocating funds.
Very good news to report.
Insider I interact with on another board who is very plugged in and friends with multiple big name current coaches says Holt signed with Bama Friday night.

It was known before the season that the frontcourt would be the weakness and limit the ceiling of this team. Look at what we lost from last year and what we replaced them with. Lost Nelson, Dioubate, Omoruyi, Stevenson and Reid and replaced them with Bol Bowen, who is soft, Williamson, who is highly unathletic and a super raw freshman.

Definitely makes the game way tougher. Although I am assuming he will be rusty.
He put up 26 against us last year when we had a way better and deeper front line.

Bama catching a bit of a break with not having to face Purdue's best big in Trey Kaufman-Renn.
