What's the latest on Alaska Air? Have option of Alaska or United for Hou to Seatac in Sept

I haven't flown this route in a long arse time (UA), but be aware there will likely be periods where there are a ton of oil workers going from IAH to Alaska via SEA. I think I was a paltry platinum at the time, and I was usually in the 70s on the upgrade list. Kind of like a lot of flights between IAH and ORD. Other than that, nothing notable.

Alaska is great. I fly them regularly. They are the best domestic airline IMO.
