I’m trying to get my family of 3 to Ireland next summer for a family vacation. Looking superficially with google regarding prices I’m getting like $2000/ticket or about $6000 total. Is this correct? This will significantly eat in to my vacation budget.

Is this right?

Is there a cheaper way?

Has anyone here been to Ireland and is it worth it?

TIA

Aer Lingus always running specials. Just this week I read the below

LINK

I was there about two weeks ago. I’d prefer several other European cities over Dublin. Didn’t do the countryside though. That might be better.

We were looking at Dublin last week and saw $500 out of Atlanta.

Fares to Dublin often go on sale. Go as early in summer as possible to land the best prices. Definitely go into the countryside, rather than just Dublin or larger towns.

$2000+ to Ireland better be in first class.

$500-$800 should be the price point from any decent sized airport (e.g. MSY)
