What part of Denver to stay (wife and I) EDIT- another question

We have flights booked for Saints@Broncos late November. I assume we won't be able to go to the game thanks to fan restrictions but we are still going to make the trip because the wife has never been.
What area of Denver would yall recommend I book a hotel to be close to nightlife and restaurants assuming they are open? Not into rap/techno clubs but enjoy live music/relaxed bars.
Thanks for the help.
Edit: Thanks for the input folks, Are there any mounts or good mountain views near Denver that will be accessible by vehicle late November? I've taken a side by side through the rockies with a buddy but the wife has never been to the area so I'm sure she will want to check out a mountain view one day.

How old are you? I’d stay in the LoHi or LODO.
Check the hotels by I-25 & Speer.
Hilton Garden Inn on Chestnut is a solid location too. I’d always put my friends there when the visited.

I have friends that live in Denver, so I stay with them, but I always enjoy LoDo, LoHi and RiNo.
ETA: I'll add that one of the first times I went to Denver, I stayed at an Airbnb in LoHi. It's an easy walk to other neighborhoods + Union Station wasn't more than a 10-15 minute walk, so the train to DEN was much cheaper than Lyft/Uber.

I'd suggest Rino. It's the trendiest place with lots of very cool bars, restaurants, and brew pubs. It's also pretty near the Blue Moon Brewery.
Lodo is great, but it's a more traditional downtown area, still with great bars and restaurants, but a little less edgy.

Just got back and we stayed in RiNo. Everything is very walkable from there. Tons of restaurants and bars nearby.

Anyone suggesting LoDo must be in the 20's party crowd. That area is the worst for me personally. I would do RiNo or Highlands

A lot of the mountain roads to peaks will be closed but you will be able to get to Estes Park which is stunning
From there, you can access Rocky Mountain National Park and they should have some roads that are accessible

Breck was basically wide open when we were there in July. I’d expect that you’ll be able to rent snowmobiles!!
