Update: Anyone ever fly with Silver Airways ?

Giving them a try out of MSY direct to JAX on Oct 14 en route to the LSU @ Florida game. Hopefully they’ll get me there without too much headache. Anyone have any experience with them ?
Update : flight out of msy was delayed by a couple hours. Also it was over a 2 hour flight which seemed kinda long to only be going to Jacksonville (I guess the smaller planes go a little slower ).
One strange thing to note. These planes load from the back so if you ever book on one of these flights make sure to choose seats in the back if you wanna get off first. Carry on didn’t cost extra nor did selecting any seat I wanted. The flight home was on time. Overall not a bad experience at all other than the delay on the way out. Tons of legroom and it only cost 167$ total to fly 2 ppl from Msy- Jax round trip. Just thought I’d share my experience.

Wife and kids flew Silver from FLL to Marsh Harbor, Bahamas last month. No issues.

I had a flight cancelled with them too. The notice was about two hours. I never tried again really

Less than 2 hours. We were at Nassau airport. Bought a Delta ticket, otherwise we were going out next day - maybe.
Taxi driver asked what airline when he picked us up. Hearing Silver he shook his head and said good luck. He said his son lives in FLL and they learned never to fly Silver if they wanted to be sure they were going to get there.

Nah for that price I can deal with it. Price is the whole reason I’ll drive from Alexandria to New Orleans in the first place. Would’ve cost 800-1200 to fly 2 out of our regional airport.
