I love traveling and every time I look at this board, it makes me want to plan a vacation. Anyone here get the same feeling?
I am in the early stages of planning a trip to Napal in 2020. My wife thinks I’m crazy for wanting to visit there, but then again, she hates to travel, that’s why she didn’t go to Italy with me this summer.
To her, the flight to WDW is too long.
She has agreed to go to Greece with me in four years for our 20th anniversary. I’ll believe it when I see it.

That’s a stipulation if I marry, if my wife doesn’t like to travel, she has to allow me to do so. I have to. I need to leave for a few weeks or so, or I get all bent out of shape.

I have a deal with my wife. I take her on an International trip every year for two weeks and I go solo for two weeks on my own . In November Im going to Thailand solo for three weeks. I’m 52 and have 3 kids 15-19 ,I’ve been grinding for The Fam with a smile while my wife stays at home or hits the gym for years . I feel like at any moment I could get terminal cancer or a widow maker so I want to live my life with some balls while I’m still here. She knows I have to roam to feel truly alive. Being Vietnamese she says it’s because I’m a fire horse. I know people think that’s weird but I’m a Buddhist practitioner so it all seems normal to me. I too get motivation from this board.

OP- this is probably the most level-headed board on TD.
