Any recall on this place. Usually stay at Phoenix west but wanted to try something different. Do they have grills for cooking and can you bring your own liquor by the poolside or do you have to buy from them

Beach Club is pretty nice. Don’t think they have public grills.

I don’t think you’d have any issues drinking your own booze if you keep it discreet. Not the type of place to post up at the pool with your cooler.

Went there last year actually. It was a great time. Brought my own alcohol to the pool for our building. I can't recall specifically if they had grills for guests as we didn't grill. I think there's an owners only pool/area where you may have to purchase alcohol if you get in there.

Kids loved the on property ice cream shop. They had a food truck day that was fun. Kids loved that there were multiple pools. The little pubic green areas in back were fun for playing games.

Look at it and zoom in from Google maps, maybe you can tell. I couldn't.

May want to call and check up on the property. In my recent drama around a reservation getting cancelled on short notice by Needle Point Condos, my wife considered looking in to Beach Club and heard they have lingering issues due to Hurricane Sally damage as well.

Stayed there when it first opened
Away from all the commotion of Orange Beach area
Further down is the Plantation which is really old and used to be the only thing out there on the way to the mobile bay ferry

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I like to cook on vacation and grill poolside. Doesn’t seem like this is an option. Also there drink menu is god awful high

I mean I drank my own stuff the whole time I was there. There is a little grocery pretty close. Went there and reloaded as needed.

Just buy you a Weber man and leave it when you leave.

We go every year. The beach club has public grills out front of the “clubhouse” in the center of the 4 towers (on the parking lot side). To my knowledge, there aren’t any grills near the pools. I’ve never had an issue drinking from my own ice chest at any of the pools.

As another poster said, there is lingering hurricane damage at some of the properties. For example, we arent staying in our usual condo this year because the elevator is still inoperable in that tower.

Gulf Shores Plantation is just right down the road. We stay there every year. Yes, it’s dated, but with 8 pools on property you can’t beat that anywhere along the Gulf Coast. And, yes, they have grills around the pools and various locations on the property. You can also bring your own alcohol around any of the pools.

We stayed there a couple of nights a few years ago. I was unimpressed with it. In that same area, I'd much rather stay at Martinique. Not sure if the condos have grills there though. Many of the houses do, and some of the houses include a golf cart to get to the pool and beach.

Been there many times. The charcoal grills are by the tennis courts. You will want to drive there from the condos. Not that big a deal. The club pool doesn't allow coolers to be brought in. Just keep it outside the gate and grab you drinks and walk in the gate. The pools in front of each condo don't have any rules. You can bring a cooler to the pool area.

a lot better place than most if you have young kiddos. they have stuff for them to do daily, arcade, pretty cool food truck area at night for kids to run around, outdoor movie night, etc.

If you book through their rental agency, you get access to the clubhouse and pool. If you book through another agency, you have to pay a fee to use the club pool. That was the policy last time I was there, in 2019.
