We have 3 couples heading to Sonoma in June and am looking for suggestions for a private wine tasting tour that includes a light meal/charcuterie. I looked on Viator and most don’t include the tasting fees and/or a meal. No big deal if we have to pay the tasting fees but Id rather have a one price does all. TIA

Some of Viansa's private tastings include charcuterie or a "savory snack" -- e.g., the private outlook tasting which would accommodate your party of 6. If none of these (that can be reserved online) suit you, you can look into their custom event packages. Viansa is not in the town of Sonoma, but still in Sonoma County and not too far away.

My cousin owns J Rickards. They do upscale box lunches with the wine tastings.

They are a small, but well regarded winery. You will probably be talking to the owners and not just an employee.

For a light meal go to lunch La Sallete in Sonoma and just order a bunch of appetizers...or more if so tempted.

LINK /

It serves Azorian/Portugese food with an emphasis on seafood. That region as well as others in CA had heavy settlement of Azorian farmers/fishermen. La Salette does a great job showcasing the cuisine.

Another great between Sonoma-area tastings stop is Jack London State Park LINK /. It's not Miur Woods, but it's an easy visit to the writer's estate.
