Has anyone taken a trip to Solitude recently? I skied there one day years ago during a park city trip. I am thinking about taking my kids there for a 3 day trip this year and staying at the resort. I wanted to find a less crowded mountain to bring them on their first trip to learn to ski. I remember the skiing being great and if we want to venture over to Brighton for a day to mix it up it would be easy to do.

Just wondering if there are any recommendations for which lodge to book and how the village is set up there. I know the villages at the Cottonwood resorts are small to non existent, but it looks to me like Solitude may have more dining and more of an actual village than the other three resorts?

Skiing:

- Its never too crowded and mostly a ghost town during the week. I was a ski host there in 2012-2014 and have never looked back. I have a season pass at Solitude and a 10 day pass at Alta.
- Solitude has a great ski school for kids.

Lodging/Dining:

- I've only stayed at Eagle Springs once and it was good. I'd just search reviews and also just call the resort. With COVID I'd guess you'd get a great rate.
- There are 10-12 places on the moutain and/or resort with a little more than half being open for dinner maybe more. All good for the experience they offer. You won't have to leave the resort unless you choose.

Its a great resort IMO.
